The family that runs this shop are great. Wonderful and helpful. Willing to go above and beyond to help their customers.
I had broken my frames and the lenses were too small to fit into a new set of frames. After going to another optometry shop who couldn’t help, I was referred here. They weren’t able to fit my lenses in a new set of frames either. We discussed just making a new pair of glasses. Due to the type of lenders I required and the fact I am only in town for 2 days, that wouldn’t work.
I was about to leave the shop thinking that I was doomed to band aided, minimally functional glasses till I got home. But then I asked if they had any frames she could use to replace my broken ear piece with. The owner took on the challenge with gusto. With file and pliers, she gave my frames new earpieces and Void la! I can see again!
The owner explained she was taught by her father how to repair, rather than just replace broken glasses. Told me she was trying to pass that knowledge on to her children… which got a little roll of the eyes from her son.

Super friendly and helpful in choosing a style that suited me. I didn’t feel rushed and the service was absolutely first class. Loving my new glasses.
Side note: They were unable to get me in to see the resident optician, so they recommended another who was also first class.

This place stands out to me as one with exceptional customer service. The lady I spoke to was outstanding, I had a simple issue but she was incredibly friendly, polite and did everything she could to help me. It was all about the service, it turned out I had a custom pair of glasses that I had bought off clearly contacts (didn’t know they’d be any different than anything else out there) so she couldnt really help me out. But certainly I’d want to return to this place in the future if there’s anything else I need

I wandered in off of Davie St. to get my eyes re tested and get some contacts and possibly glasses. I got a free eye exam with the knowledge i would purchase contacts. I paid $ 50 for a contact fitting, but realized while trying to put these weird foreign things in my eyes, i probably should stick to glasses. They had a great sale on so of course i started looking for something. I picked up a pair of Morris glasses for $ 350. Azra (the owner’s daughter) is still helping me find contacts that work. She is super friendly and i would go back there.
