Just purchased a pair of sunglasses from the store. Manager Osmaan gave quick and good services. The store is small but with too many salesmen standing and staring at customers, not very pleasant environment.

I don’t like how you really have to negotiate the price to get a fair price. I was happy with my first purchase a year ago and when I came back this year, so disappointed with the services and the price they provided. Won’t go back.

An unscrupulous salesman at this place charged a seriously disabled man $ 50 for an «eyeglass adjustment» that involved bending his metal frame slightly (a service which most opticians will do for free or for a nominal fee). When the owner of the store learned about it, he just laughed it off and said the employee responsible was «a good salesman.»
Do not shop here — their business practices are totally unethical. If you suspect you’ve been ripped off, you have.

Purchasing a pair of glasses or sunglasses that you actually like on yourself is a daunting and difficult task. For some reason I’ve had a lot of success with both at Skylight Optical. The staff is more helpful than the other shops and they always ask for your budget so they know what to show you. Unlike other places which try to upsell. They have a system where they put the glasses you like all together so you don’t have to keep going back to them on the shelf. It might seem like a small thing but I find this makes the shopping experience much easier.
I first walked in five years ago and purchased a pair of sunglasses for myself and my then girlfriend (now wife!). I had a great experience so I recommended my family and friends go there as well. I probably single handedly paid a month’s salary of the worker who helped us all out at that time.
This past summer, I thought it was finally time to get a new pair of sunglasses. I first took a look at other stores and didn’t find anything. Then I thought I’d give Skylight Optical a try again. They had what other stores in the area didn’t have and at decent prices too. I don’t know why I always keep going back to other places to begin my search, when I often walk in here and find what I want.
My most recent purchase from them was a pair of eye glasses. My wife knows as much as anybody that I’m extremely indecisive and it takes me forever to find something that I like. However, when I walked in here, they showed me 5 or 6 pairs and I was able to make my decision within 15 minutes. Unheard of!
Since I always find something here at reasonable prices, this is a note to myself to just come here on my next search for glasses. I’m always satisfied and will be going back again.

It’s been here for decades it seems, as I’ve purchased exactly 2 pairs since.
Just not very spacious store, quite narrow and tight as you’ll be bumping into people as it’s not more than 2 feet wide, despite a long store.
Prices are up there but can be negotiated. The usual designer names.
Lots of staff here to handle the Robson and tourist traffic.
Will be moving at end of month a block over beside Geox shoes.
