I had 3 exams over 3 years with Dr. Nasser. Within the past year, I had a complete exam with Dr. Nasser, ordered contacts and glasses, then moved out of the area six months later. I contacted the office to retrieve my contact lens prescription. It was a relentless chain of emails and phone calls with them arguing with me that I never had a contact lens fitting(I lived in Van for four years and bought every single box of lenses through them). Not to mention, my new Dr’s office informed me how rude they were when they called to retrieve the information. Seriously, you sell glasses, chill the heck out and be a little more helpful. What a bunch of uppity, not nice people.. .. especially since they were wrong. With options like , you think small speciality retailers would up their game when it comes to customer service. Oh, and avoid Eye’s on 12th. I lived on South Granville and they were SUPERSNOTTY in there. I went there once and was not impressed. Lastly, once they finally sent me the prescription, they forgot to put the date of exam, so it was worthless. In the end, I got a whole new exam.…not worth the stress.

This is my first ever Unilocal review. I just had to call out the spectacular service I received this evening. I’m traveling on business and my glasses broke. This place was right near the hotel, so in I went. The service was top-notch. I don’t live in Vancouver, so it’s unlikely I’ll ever be a customer again. But if I was, I would for sure make this my spot. It’s an incredibly curated inventory of glasses… I would bet it’s enough to make those with 20⁄20 vision jealous.

The best of the best for eye wear. Not a discount house of cheap«brand name» stuff but some very cool stuff you won’t see every tom dick and Harry wearing as you leave the store. Service is the best! I always deal with Cate because she knows her stuff and styles. If I have to wear my glasses every day I want the best and something different. I always find those things here. It’s not cheap so bring your bank roll but you get what you pay for.

I came in from out of town and without an appointment because I needed some help with my contacts and they were super accommodating and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone in search of a good eye doctor that has great customer service.

Just got a pair of Maui Jim from Eyes On Burrard. Excellent service + reasonable price. For the same pair of sunglasses, Sunglasses Hut around the corner charges 25% more.

This review is way overdue, but I have to acknowledge how great the customer service was. From the moment I walked in I felt as if I had a personal shopper. I forget the lady’s name who was helping me, but I do remember she was originally from Palm Springs, CA. She was explaining to me how different frames fit on different face shapes and why this would work and that wouldn’t. It was by far the best experience I had ever had purchasing any item, ever! I was in there for a good hour trying to find the perfect pair of sunglasses and she did not leave my side. Whenever I go back to Vancouver I will definitely stop by for another pair!

Great selection, probably a bit pricey, but great products in the designer eyewear category. I got my pair of Lunors from here. Designed in Germany and handmade in Japan, the guy said they are one of five pairs imported to Canada, and the only pair in the City of Vancouver. There’s just something about knowing I won’t see anyone else out there with the same glasses as me! I don’t know if what he said was true, but I like it anyway :) Bonus: I like girls, but the guy who sold me my glasses was hot.
