What is not to love about slipping my feet into a pair of almost new $ 200 Ferragamo sandals that just cost me $ 24 or the brand new $ 110 pair of shoes that cost me $ 10. I have popped in from time to time, but never have had the the time to really forage for the buried gems. There are some very stylish high– end designer duds, shoes and accessories here, but they are often intermingled with cruise wear garments for the blue rinse set which are not so terrific. Proximity to the disposable incomed fashionistas of Shaughnessy insures that the pipeline of good merchandise is steadily trickling in.

I almost don’t want to write a review — I love my deals so much — sharing is difficult! Act ll is an intriguing shop. There are sections for St. John, Nancy Lord and the designer shoe area has Prada, Tod’s, Ferragamo, and others. There are a lot of Armani suits. That said, the shop is full of great finds from Gap to Olsen to Brix to Hauber. A lot of Apriori, that gorgeous European fit. Sizes range from 4 to 24. There is a «Goddess» rack, size 16 and up. Early in season, the prices are a tad high, but Act ll rocks it when it is blow-out end of season. I got an Olsen top for $ 6, Jones for $ 8, and previous deals have included Hauber slacks for $ 12, Gerry Weber pin stripe slacks for $ 18. But my fave find was last week — the budget-blowing super shiny red patent leather Ferragamo sandals. I watched as they were placed on the shelf, tried them on, and my feet sang Italian love songs. Went back two days later, and those little lovelies were waiting for me. Thank you, previous owner, for having never worn these shoes! The clothing is in good condition, current, and well-displayed. The three change areas are well-lit and have individual mirrors. Nice staff who let you roam the store and find the deals. Act ll is at West 16th and Trafalgar, close to Sweet Obsession, Choice’s Rice Bakery, and Choice’s Kits. Lots of street parking. Closed Sunday and Monday.
