Best Western Plus Downtown Vancouver

Wir fanden das Best Western Downtown sehr gut. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, unser Zimmer geräumig und sauber. Das Frühstück wird im Wjite Spot, einem direkt angeschlossenen Restaurant serviert –sofern gebucht. Die Lage ist als Ausgangspunkt sehr gut. Man erreicht Granville Island Market, Yaletown, Gastown und das Cruiseshipterminal gut. Es gibt ein kostenloses Angebot, für 3 Stunden Fahrräder zu leihen und ein kostenfreier Shuttle zum Cruiseterminal wird ebenso angeboten.
Einziger Kritikpunkt: die Fenster in den Zimmern lassen sich (zumindest in/​ab der 7. Etage) nicht öffen. Dies hat bestimmt Sicherheitsgründe und es ist eine gut regelbare Klimaanlage installiert.

Husband and I loved this hotel for our three night stay in Vancouver. Rooms felt a little small, but have everything you need. We found the location to be in a decent area of downtown to catch the bus and sky train (subway) which are great ways to get around the city. The hotel also has a free shuttle that we utilized a couple times. The hotel sits at the end of Granville street which is a popular street for restaurants and shopping. There were even some good restaurants located within a few steps including a tasty sushi place that we dined at the last night of our trip. The hotel had a restaurant too (White Spot). We did not dine there during our stay, but it looked busier than I thought for a hotel restaurant on the weeknights we stayed. Staff were friendly and our room was clean.
We also utilized the free bike rental for 3 hours one morning and the process of checking it out and returning them was easy. This was a lot of fun! We stayed hydrated during the trip because we enjoyed the filtered water that was down the hall from us to get fresh water. Really great rooftop view, excellent gym, and even a ping pong table upstairs. For the price, this is an excellent hotel in the fabulous city of Vancouver.
