Very good. Had the double double burger without the bread. Came nicely wrapped in lettuce, vegetables, cheese and sauces, along with side onion rings. Waiters were very friendly and the service was excellent.

For the price White Spot is a great meal. I love this location as it always seems to taste better here than the other ones I’ve been to… Anyway what they do they do well. It’s diner food, but it’s cheap and good. We’re monthly fans.

A cockroach ran across our table as we were leaving. I smacked it and walked out. Too bad. It was so close to home but it makes me wonder what’s behind the closed doors. Yikes.

I went here last week when I was visiting vancouver the food was great but wasn’t please over hearing the filipino waiter he must be the boss the way he talked to our waiter with no respect and very rude me and my husband and daughter were in shock. if this is how he treats his co workers, I would hate to see how he treats his customers! How can a organization have someone working with them that mean?! I had to explain to my daughter that some people just dont like their job or dont like who they work with, but having other customers hearing this on the floor while they eat doesnt make for a pleasant dinning experience. I wont be going back. The good food doesnt make up for the poor staff environment and poor team work. But Our waiter did a great job and just took the harassment that I dont think he deserved. Thank you to him for our great service!

There was an insect in my house salad. Just before coming here my friend was saying that we shouldn’t go to white spot since the people who worked in the kitchen are saying that they would never eat here. I said screw it. It’s thanksgiving. Aaaaand there was a cricket in the salad. I think it’s safe to say id never be eating at white spot anymore. I get $ 5 off my bill though. But still…

Rainy day so we’re having breakfast in the hotel resto. Ordered the spinach, portobello, and feta omelette and the regular breakfast. The smashed potatoes were basically baby potatoes that looked like they had been boiled, beaten flat and deep fried. Some chunks were crispy and tasty but others were fried to a burnt crisp. The rest of the breakfast was fresh and delish. Prefer old style hash browned potatoes myself. Decent coffee and tea and service is quick and friendly.

I probably wouldn’t have chosen a White Spot, but we were staying at the hotel and that made it convenient after a long day of travel. We ate here once for dinner and once for breakfast. Dinner was just«okay.» I had the fish & chips which were tempura style. Much more batter than I’m accustomed to or like, but the fish was fresh & tasty. My companion had the turkey dinner and was pleased. For breakfast we both went with the waitress’ recommendation and had the eggs benny. They were perfection, and the reason this chain gets a good mark!

Came here for lunch yesterday. It’s definitely not my go to place, but it’s just another option in the area. Had the roast turkey dinner and zoo sticks. The zoo sticks are usually very good, but they were a bit on the mushy side today, but wasn’t as bad as the roast turkey dinner. The turkey was very bland and dry. The stuffing was dry as well. Everything else it came with(mashed potatoes, veggies, gravy) wasn’t too shabby, but if I have a turkey meal, I would hope the turkey is decent. There’s probably a reason why I shouldn’t order turkey unless it’s thanksgiving or Christmas, now I know why. Service was decent, but unfortunately it doesn’t not make up for the food :(

We got into the White Spot because it was attached to the hotel and we were very tired after being traveling all day. It was a pleasing experience; the service as well as the food were excellent. It was our first night in Canada and the waiter explained which offerings were regular and which were more Canadian. The next morning we went there again for breakfast and, while the menu was different, the experience was as good as the night before. We are going to explore other eateries in the area, while we know that we still have a very good choice right here.

Basic overdressed burgers like in a lot of other places. They do the job but I cannot understand what the big deal is. The poutine was pretty good and very rich. Service was great. It is basically a canadian Denny’s(although a bit better).

Weird that I would be writing about White Spot, however, there is a reason that they guy that I am dating and I have come here not once, not twice, but whenever we have a craving for a good sustainable burger on price and taste. The recent closure of this location inspired me to write a review. Out of all the WS, this is my favorite ’cause of this staff. We always get our favorite waiter and they handle game/concert night rush effortlessly. I have been going to this location throughout various dietary phases and all have been polite and accommodating through my various food transitions.

Servers are good. Food is pretty so-so, I’m from the US and this reminds me of a Coco’s or something that. There’s an attempt at having a contemporary menu with interesting options, but the execution just isn’t really there. If you’re willing to walk a few blocks(and maybe pay a couple more dollars) there are some terrific places with thoughtfully cooked dishes and less of a 1994 atmosphere. But if you’re looking for a simple chain with long hours, go for it!

I’ve been here several times, mostly for family dinners with my baby niece. It’s family friendly, so one of the few places that you can take a baby Anyway, we arrived. asked for a table for 6 adults, and a child. They seemed flustered. and gave us a table with one regular table, and one bar table against the I could barely fit in the seat. and I’m not that big! So, we asked for another table. a proper table. so people in the group wouldn’t have to eat on their laps. They had one, but it was for the group that arrived after us. We were there first, so they finally agreed to give it to us Drinks were slow, food was average After this last time, I don’t think we’ll be back. which isn’t a bad thing. it is white spot after all

This is sort of the Dennys and Bob’s Big Boy of Canada, with locations everywhere. It’s decent, and it has a variety. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner items. I got a Caesar chicken wrap and was able to sub my fries for poutine(which Canada is known for). Not the best poutine of all of Canada, but sure do appreciate the options to «upgrade» my fries. This location happen to be conveniently close to the hotel where my parents were staying at. Whenever I go to Canada, White Spot is kind of a regular visit.

I came to White Spot on my first night in Vancouver since it was connected to my hotel. There is only one word to describe my experience. … YUK!!! I know this place may be convenient if you’re staying at the Best Western Plus, but walking a few blocks to another restaurant is absolutely worth it. Don’t waste your money.

We’ve been to this location multiple times. The food and service are always consistent. Chicken dishes are consistently good. Good apple tart and pumpkin pie. Price is really cheap for downtown. We like that White Spot evolves and changes their menus to keep things interesting. Love the new healthier and more exotic items added to the menu. We find the restaurant comfortable, except sometimes there are these annoying little flies bothering us throughout the meal. Really, really annoying that they can’t keep out the flies.

i always like restaurants connected to a hotel, lol, at least you know the washrooms are cleaner than average lol. Service is decent though not a fan of the layout, it’s not as open as Oakridge’s. Food’s still good when I’m in the mood for their burgers and milkshakes. Some good booth seating here too. Parking’s as usual tough in DT. Open early which is nice.
