The quality of the merchandise is bad, but the crass service is even worse. Bought a pair of shoes, wore them once and the sole came off. Took them back and what appeared to be the owner treated us with contempt, making lame excuses for his poor merchandise by blaming«his 18 year old staff that don’t know anything». I didn’t see the connection and mentioned that we live in the neighbourhood and just want to have good relations with the local businesses. He told us to leave his store. This guy wants your money and doesn’t care about customer satisfaction, not to mention his poor merchandise. Be warned.

Man I remember those days, those high school days when I was that skater kid in high school. I am so glad that skate shops are still around and new ones pop up consistently. This is no different. I came in here to browse down memory lane and get some price comparisons for the two kids I used to nanny for who want to get into the sport. I already handed them down some of my stuff, however, they’re in need of new stuff. Great customer service. As for the price it is hit and miss but within market value.

Very cool place, all the Vans products galore on their centrepiece pool table right at the front. helmets, wheels, and of course, their famous shorts and shirts. Some boxed shoes at the front with a few sales, reg. $ 70 now selling for $ 50, limited sizes. Nice retail store worth going back again instead of the mall.

Well well. I had never expected a place on the Drive to be this sad. I go in for the first time the other day, looking for some size 14 shoes. Yeah, as if, right? Lord knows there’s hardly any people that stand six foot four like myself, in the entire metropolis of Vancouver. So, you guessed it… lost cause. The one guy there with a beard was nice and helpful. The blonde chick that was there didn’t even try to make eye contact with me, let alone crack even a half assed smile. Zero anything from her, she just sat on the bench(probably wondering what tattoo to get next). Anyways, so I try on a «Bones» hoodie. I liked it. However, it was $ 80…and made in China. Those two things do not compute. So, I did a completely normal thing later and called up the mgr and politely asked if he’d accept $ 60. His completely tactless answer was«no»…in a quick and louder tone(sounded like nope). Silence after that. Not even a normal and professional answer like«sorry I can’t». But of course what he DOES have to say after is «everything is made in China» lol. And THIS place is listed as «$$$$». I later asked can he go anything lower at all than the $ 80. Again…“no”…without saying anything after that, like the first time… forcing me to continue talking. Rude, is rude… never mind him not selling it for any less. And I suppose that the average skater that needs some new stuff, naturally should/can be paying premium for stuff made in China? lol again. Course, you know what ALWAYS happens to these new, «cool» little shops that you see turn up in the neighborhood, in a year, or maybe two… gone. And this joke of a place no doubt, is a prime example. Selling the absolute cheapest made things(yeah duh, that’s China), for the highest prices… and doing THAT to part of the POOREST crowd… the Skater community. Yeah, reeel genius. Oh by the way, you know those typical and cheapo fedora style straw hats that you see all over the place, yeah China, and usually $ 40? They got a few there too…$ 80! L-O-L! My money, will forever go ELSEwhere. Disgusting. Enjoy your going outa business sale, Mr. Tactless. No soup… for YOU. I just feel sorry for the helpful guy with the beard.

Sweet baby jesus went and put a rad lil unassuming board shop on the drive! Awesomesauce! My friend got his longboard fixed in under 5 min and I bought a super dope hat there this weekend. Prices are pretty decent and they have shoes, clothing, and helmets too. Friendly service is also a plus. I’m pretty stoked.
