Sales people are professional and courteous, not pushy at all. Dining room table was magnificent in its unique style. Coffee table with multiple table tops and raisable. Beautiful and practical.

I went for the first time to BoConcept during this summer sale for the floor models. It was a great event, attended by many, with incredibly generous food from outside vendors for those who RSVPed to the event. Overall, the sale was great. I was impressed by the sales people on the floor, who were very approachable, friendly, and looking to help when needed. The only issue that I had during my visit was in regards to the efficiency at the cashier. The line moved very slowly, and I felt like this was poorly managed over the night. I found out that one of the cashiers was very new to working, which made the transactions that much longer. I have no criticism for the individual himself, but I felt that the management should have tried to re-arrange the employees, or should have been more prepared for this night, which was arguably the busiest of the summer. I don’t think it was the wisest decision to have a new person operating the cashier on such a busy evening.

If i had to choose between EQ3 and this store, I’m sorry to say that I have my stars on EQ3. Considering the designer furniture lines are similar, this store has high priced margins on their designer lines. EQ3 offers the same at a much lower cost. In terms of Interior Design, I would have to say a no to BoConcept. First off, having to pay for a consultation is not too pleasing, and the level of efficiency by the designer is very slow. At EQ3, they provide the same designer level service at a much faster level of efficiency, and uses a unique conceptual plan making it easy to visualize spaces as a customer.

Sales people are great and very accommodating. However, their delivery service is another story. They came and the top to my table was never wrapped, found a few scratches on it, so the manager ordered a new one. Now they have to come in and exchange it, the process took forever due to installation. Here’s some advice to save you some time and labor(and my time!) bo concept, wrap your furniture prior to delivery so that it comes in perfect condition!!!

I’ve hit another adult(read: consumer) milestone. I bought a couch. Boconcept was one of the first stores on our list to visit because of the styles and designs. Not convinced that we should just buy the first couch we liked, we went to several other shops. In the end for the quality, style, and price, Boconcept was the best. The sales people were great, very friendly and knowledgeable about their product. I liked that they weren’t pushy. They have this computer program where they can input your room dimensions so you can see the prospective furniture in the space. Also, most of their furniture is customizable. I recommend this place if you like Danish design.

Hi All, I just bought a 3 seat Sofa(light grey sierra fabric) with wooden pegs and a swivel coffee table that expands into a dinner table/poker table for my new apartment. The post below mentions that they are part of Inspiration but that is not the case — they are a separate company with much higher quality products(although more expensive). There is something for everyone — middle to high end and they have great customer service. I worked with Gavin who was very helpful showing me the functionality of the pieces I bought which was impressive as this was my first stop. For the record I previously shopped at Inform, Living Spaces and Gabriel Ross — this is one of my favorite places. (My purchases will take 1 month to ship, but it can take shorter or longer if they have to ship it from Denmark or if they have to customize things for you)

We originally stumbled upon its sister store in Seattle to learn that there is one in Vancouver. We had been looking for an «arc» floor lamp with a large swing span and yet a simple /compact design. Many places offer similar type lamps but are either clunky, unoriginal or will make your wallet over $ 1,000 lighter. We found the one we’ve looking for at BoConcept. It’s a furniture franchise originated in Denmark. The store in Vancouver is on the 2nd level of the building shared by Inspirations on the ground level of the building. It was slight confusing on our first visit because they are 2 separate businesses which share a common centre in-store stairwell. Service was good. Since the only one available was a floor model, we were offered a reasonable 10% discount. A good alternative to sleeker and more stylish Scandinavian furniture in town than the mothership from Sweden.

BoConcept is the newest addition to the Inspiration family and is located on the upper most floor of the inspiration building. Thier style is very contemporay, and almost seems to me like they are the sleeker sexier cousin of Inspiration. The pieces definitely appeal the urban condo dwellers because most of their furniture is scaled to size so that they can fit them into those glass cubes in the sky. They also have a really interesting collection of home accessories, and I wouldn’t be a good gay if I didn’t notice the pillows right… and they passed the test, a little pricey($ 98) for my liking but none the less beautiful.
