We have recently purchased a bedroom set and a few more items from this store. I should admit, I can’t recall any other time, while buying furniture, that the attitude would be so friendly, and the service so perfect. And we were not easy customers. We live across the border, so the store had to contact the shipping company, prepare all the documents while the shop-assistant Janice stayed in touch with us, reporting every step on the way until we received everything we purchased in a pristine condition. We had a wonderful experience with both Janice and her manager Hesen. Regardless of our first visit a few months ago when we ended up buying nothing, when we showed up recently, we were met as old friends, and Janice again spent over an hour with us showing and verifying everything we were considering to buy. We cannot thank them enough for the beautiful Italian furniture which is a joy to have, and for a great service provided to us. Will definitely come back and strongly recommend this store to everybody who would like to get something really stylish and contemporary.

Bought a couch at their warehouse sale. Low quality stuff. Had problems not even a year into having it. I emailed them, but they never responded. Bad customer service. Sketchy.

Grossly overpriced IKEA furniture. Everyting they sell is mass market, compressed wood, low quality rubbish. If you have the funds for expensive furniture, then do your homework and select quality products that will survive a lifetime. The kind of furniture that gets handed down the generations, rather than thrown into a landfill like this stuff.

9÷1÷2012; 10:00 A.M. Event: Furniture Garage sale Mission: Upgrade ageing couch. As we drove nondescript building on a secluded street east of Granville island, there were no parking spots. One look at my driver she knew we needed to double back around the building. A parking spot appeared out of nowhere and we at the door as the gates rouse. What felt like 150 people but really was only half that rushed in the parking lot area looking for bargain furniture. The Garage was dark the only colours clearly were black and white, displays started with the kitchen chairs dining tables bed frames and mattresses in warped in plastic bags like unused condoms. Our mission was a New Couch; we needed to get to the upper level of the garage before the others. We made our way past commission salesmen that all wanted us to know their names, sorry guys you’re all buddy to me today. There were day labours dressed in company tee shits standing around waiting to use their strong backs to move the closed deals. In what felt like forever but took less than 90 seconds we moved to the parking lots living room display area. A few dozen couches and love seats were there to choose from. Our goal find a couch that meet our aesthetic needs and will fit into our modest condo space. In the end it narrowed down to your three classic choices. Two White Leather Natuzzi pieces and unbranded fabric couch that just seemed so bland. With Split second accuracy we looked at each after sitting on the White Couch and Love Seats they were both so comfortable, but we decided we are just not White Couch people after-all and removed ourselves from the madness of the event and spent a wonderful day at the beach instead.

A very extended selection of home furniture from mid-range prices all the way up to the pricey Italian Natuzzis. Mostly contemporary styles, great for people who love the modern styles and shapes. As I was looking for a living room set and a dining room set, their showroom definitely helped me dream up on ideas on what I would want. I am not going to lie — when I know exactly what I want, nothing else will do, and I rarely seek to compromise. I must admit that their wide selection of Natuzzi sofas were very impressive, but I was ever so disappointed when I found the sofa that I liked, but there was a major finishing flaw that was just unavoidable and definitely was not worth the price I was paying. With such a large(metaphorically) price tag on the sofa, I expect the finishings to be perfectly flawless. And so with a deep sigh, I had to let it go. They also had a good range of buffets, dining sets and bar chairs — all of which I am looking for. And again, I got a better idea of what I want, but nothing there seemed to be the one I wanted. They had a display on Skovby dining sets(Danish company and manufacturer), unfortunately they did not have access to the model I wanted. Very attentive service, and a great selection — but at the end of the day, I just could not find anything I could get in an order and use it as leverage to persuade them to give me a lower price than what was listed. But if you are going furniture shopping for contemporary styles, I would say this showroom is a good one to visit to get even some ideas into your head.

Writing this while vegging on my fabulous leather sectional from this store! Inspiration is a great store — huge showroom with many design lines and also a variety of price points from their own lines to mid-range contemporary like Catellan and BDI, to high end from one of my fave Swiss designers, de Sede. One of the best features about this place is the size, particulary the huge Natuzzi gallery — we ordered our Natuzzi sectional from here and it’s like butter… you seriously want to wrap yourself in this! The gallery focuses on the current lines of made in Italy Natuzzis, not the crap Natuzzi made in China from Sears and the box stores. Ginger Jar in North Van also carries the Italian Natuzzis but Inspiration’s showroom really helps you get some looks in mind. Great custom options on the lines they carry and delivery time was 4.5 months for the sectional and on schedule. We also ordered a storage unit from an obscure German designer from them and it’s floating across an ocean as we speak… will update if anything changes. Overall a great store with good customer service and a large selection of contemporary European designs. Quality brands and avoids the whole ‘replica’ trap that a lot of stores fall into these days.

inSpiration is very inspirational… for furniture, interior design and other European décor designs that is. The corner location is a bit hard to find and parking is not the most convenient, however once inside the cool concept-driven, sustainable and wildly elegant designs will make you want to shop shop shop until you drop. Italian leather sofas, chaises and chandeliers took my breath away while the vases and accessory décor pieces were so functional and designed for even those who live in smaller spaces.

So I have always considered Inspiration to be a little toooo Italian modern for me. you know the look… yellow leather sofa, with shattered glass coffee tables, paired down with an über-sleek chaise that is shaped like a tongue… ya you know it! well times they are a changing. I went in there today and was quite impressed with their assortment and the reno… and holy crap Batman the customer service was unbelievable, we were approached by three sales associate. can anyone say commission? So after closer inspection I realized that they actually have some really cool pieces and what I would consider a reasonable price… They always seemed so unattainable but I think they have changed their pricing strategy because I was considering buying a few of the pieces they had to offer… and that never happens there.
