Once again, I confess that I had no idea this store was even here, and much to my surprise, they have been here, in Tinseltown, selling beautifully affordable leather coats and jackets, for seven years!
When I entered the store, Irma, the European woman running the shop immediately began telling me about her botched dental work and how disappointed she was. Even more surprisingly, this struck a chord with me and rash of dental work incidences, and the next thing I know we are chatting up a storm. Besides amazingly friendly shop hosts, Bod & Christensen sells quality leather coats, jackets and accessories for men and women, at bargain prices!
Unfortunately, there is little traffic in this store but that wasn’t always the case, Irma told me that when they first opened in 2001, the mall was filled with all sorts of stores selling quality goods. The mall suffered some sort of financial setback and slumped, now it is back up and running, which is pretty gutsy considering the market these days.
My ignorance to Tinseltown Mall will lay way to support for the local business owners, like Irma, who struggle everyday to keep their livelihood in tact, and you should too! Who doesn’t want a soft, buttery new leather jacket?!
