I am surprised and a bit sad that this place is now closed. The take-away did not disappoint at least!

Not being a local, we like this place for lunch when driving from the airport into the center of town. It is conveniently located and has a steady flow of business. There is an excellent range of choices and the service is friendly. I do think the food quality has gone down since my first visit several years ago but, it is a reliable place for a hot meal.

Service is ok, staff is friendly but not top notch. Food is fast, tasty and they have a massive selection. Drinks are very cheap so this is a younger crowd hang out in the evenings. Décor is dated but the place is spotlessly clean.

Great coffee-shop style restaurant. I’ve only gone for lunch with co-workers, and it’s perfect for that. Not a good place for kids or to take a client as it’s tables and chairs mostly, and they are quite close together. Burgers are very tasty, and are the savory crepes. The butter chicken soup is awesome.

One of my absolute FAVOURITE places to pop in for a quick dessert-type snack to take on the go. Whenever anyone comes to visit me here in Vancouver, a stop at Café Crêpe is a MUST. Not only is it delicious, it’s also the perfect portable snack that allows you to munch, indulge and walk/shop on the go! So what’s my favourite? Well I like to keep it simple. The butter and sugar crêpe is my number one choice, and at at less than 5 bucks each, you can’t afford NOT to try it out!!! :)

Thought I would treat family(wife, 4 year old and 2 year old) to brunch. SERVICEWASSLOW. We drank our $ 6 coffees and left. Told staff it was painful waiting for service. Nothing. GM stops me on sidewalk and apologized and gives me his business card. Unfortunately I don’t feed my kids business cards. If you have a young family with limited attention span this restaurant is NOT for you. It was sad explaining to my 4 year old why she wasn’t getting her french toast.

I used to like this place but there was a very interesting mishap that I just can’t get over and I won’t be going back. The waiter took my order. I waited 20 minutes. The waiter brought my food. The food wasn’t cooked. I flagged the waiter to complain. The waiter took my food and I specifically asked that they just heat up the part that’s not cooked and bring it back because I was fine with that and I didn’t want to wait for it to be cooked all over again. I waited 15 minutes. The manager came back to say they were out of the dish I ordered. I said but I asked for the food on my plate to be heated. He said he will not charge me for it and walked away. So, disappointed and confused, I left. Sheesh.

I came here twice in one week, actually. First time, my friend and I split a pitcher of beer. He had the brie crêpe and I had the Nutella/strawberry one. While mine was tasty — though I don’t know how you could mess it up – from someone who loves brie, that crêpe was AMAZING. Even now, I’m still jealous I didn’t order that. That experience was fine. We were out the door pretty quickly. It wasn’t too busy, though the hockey game was on. The second time, I had the nutella martini and the burger and fries. The martini was to die for. It wasn’t too thick, and not overly chocolately. They also put Nutella on the inside of the glass, and I really had to restrain myself from scooping it up with my finger and licking it off. Now, about the burger. I just wasn’t feeling a crêpe, and the waitress said their burgers are good. And it was. Big piece of meat cooked to perfection with toppings. The fries are shoestring fries, and they didn’t skimp out. Just like my first trip, there weren’t that many people this time around, however, but the food was great.

I was told to visit this place because their crepes are amazing and the prices are right. I can honestly say they directed me correctly! I had a tasty swiss, spinach, and egg crêpe with a coffee and orange juice on the side. When I got my crêpe I couldn’t believe the size! It was a huge triangle slice bigger than my hand! It was so good; definitely worth the $ 7. Speaking of price, my whole meal with drinks only cost me about $ 11! I was so happy! Being a new-comer to Vancouver from Minneapolis, MN I’m not used to these new amped up prices. I’ve been trying to be frugal in the best kind of way. I’ve visited Café Crêpe a few times now, just trying out new breakfasts/lunches and I’ve not encountered a bad crêpe nor service! The waiters/waitresses are all very helpful, polite, and smiling! The kitchen staff are all behind glass so you can watch them prepare the foods in front of you(I like this because then nobody can spit in your food *giggles* juuuust kidding!!) The host that greeted us is head of the kitchen staff and he was all smiles and waves when we entered and exited! I highly suggest this place for anyone looking to pop in for breakfast or lunch. Perhaps I’ll see you there!

It looks pretty from the outside and it is a good place for people watching but that’s it. The service was extremely slow and the crêpe was crappy. I came here specifically for the crêpe but my spinach, cheese, and egg crêpe did not live up to my expectations. There was nothing special about it, and I didn’t even finish it. For the price, I expected more. Cappuccino was ok, acceptable. I think they need more waitresses because the poor girl was taking all the orders from 6 different tables outside, which was why it took forever to get her attention. I should’ve gone back to Bön Crêpe!!!

I’ve always thought this crêpe chain is for tourists thus over-priced and not as tasty as one might expect. Recently I had a meal there. Savory prociutto crêpe with a cappuccino. The service was superb and great atmosphere, but the cappuccino was the WORST one I’ve ever had in my life. If there’s the word«café» in the name, better make sure coffee items are above par. The foam was comparable to soap suds, or really bad, airy, stiff meringue. I tried to mix it with the espresso on the bottom but didn’t work. Whoever made that cup must’ve had no experience and probably never tasted a good cappuccino. That meal ruined my mood that day, until I had a normal-grade cappuccino few doors down.

I come here when i have my egg and cheese craving. What better way to serve it then in a thin like crêpe pastry coated in butter?! Hhmm maybe it’s not the healthiest choice but it definitely hits the spot. Especially if you are hung over! I like that you can walk up the window and order. There are not many places in town like that. Prices have gone up which kind of sucks and has reduced my visits. I rarely sit down and eat in this place, for some reason it doesn’t feel right.

We only came here to grab a drink. Yes, we went to a crêpe shop to grab drinks. They do have a decent selection of alcohol though and since we just wanted to relax and escape from the rain, it was a good spot. They have a few beers on tap and I was able to try the Granville Island Winter Ale. Definitely a fan of the Canadian brew now. I wonder if they have it at BevMo? Several of my friends had their cocktails and they were pretty well made. Prices are very reasonable here so we had a pretty good time once we got our drinks. However, it does take FOREVER to get anything here and it wasn’t exactly a busy night. It seriously took over 20 minutes for our server to bring our orders. There’s only one bartender there but seriously, their service needs some improvement. The servers also like to congregate around the cashier and just chat. Took another 15 minutes for my friend to get a JD on the rocks. Kinda hard to imagine that it’ll take that long to pour a shot into a class with some ice. Check took awhile too.

I’ll admit, the place lacks atmosphere. I’m not sure why… I mean, there are cute booths, giant art prints… something in their branding just lacks enthusiasm. My sis and I shared a spinach, feta, mushroom and swiss cheese crêpe and a straberry banana nutella crêpe. Both were delish. The savoury needed some tomatoes though, to bring out more flavour. I asked for sauce and was given ketchup and hot sauce. Hmm. Ketchup just seemed too redneck to use on such a beautiful crêpe so I opted for a wee bit of hot sauce. That did did the trick ok. The dessert crêpe? Incredible. I mean, can you ever go wrong with fresh fruit and Nutella? I think not. We happily gobbled it up. I’m craving it right now, in fact! What I liked most about the crepes was their consistency. Usually I find(and like) crepes to be very moist and thin. These crepes were firm, crisp and fluffy. I’ve never tasted a crêpe like that before and I really loved it. Not that I don’t like the standard fragile/moist crepes, but these were just as great in a totally unique way. My Illy decaf latte(I was impressed that they serve Illy!) had a burnt taste to it. Well, so this place is for crepes and not for coffee. I can deal with that. Some people across from us were eating burgers. They smelled so good it hurt, but I mean, I didn’t come to a creperie for a burger, so I passed. I think it’s easy to overlook this place simply because it’s a chain(I tend to favour the small independent shops), but let’s be honest: crepes are crepes. Still, I would prefer to eat them in a cozier place.

Surprised some people here are unhappy with the service. Everyone I’ve met here is very nice and the food is very good and reasonably priced. Of course, the nutella banana crepes are awesome, but even their lunch menu is strong — burgers, sandwiches et al

It was just ok. I found it to be overpriced. We got the special crepes since they have alcohol in them and figured it would be a real treat. However, they were way pricier and we couldn’t taste any difference from the regular ones that our friends got. The batter was a little doughy for my taste. I would go again in a crêpe craving pinch, but otherwise it was kinda meh.

We were starving after our flight to Vancouver and had 4 hours before dinner. So we needed a quick and light eats place to subdue our hunger until our dinner reservations. This creperie had a huge line outside for crepes to go so we decided to share a crêpe. Luckily we shared because the portion size was HUGE. We had the ham, mushroom, and cheese savory crêpe. The outside of the crêpe wasn’t too crispy but it wasn’t soggy either.(I despise soggy crepes.) Meh. overall it was ok. I’ve had better.

This morning we got up and felt like it was a crêpe kind of a day, something a bit savory. Where else does one go for crepes on south Granville but right to this place, right to the source. I ordered the Chicken, emmental, egg, and mayonnaise crêpe and an Orangina. Which by the way took me back to being a kid living in the middle east sipping on one of these things in the middle of the dessert swatting fly’s. come to think of it I had to swat a few fly’s today while sipping my drink, I’ve come full circle. The service was good and the atmosphere is fun, sort of Parisian café complete with dutch poster art on the walls. fun fact: If your looking for a cheap beer head to this place in the evening, cant beat their prices.
