It looks like a unique place to buy maple products, but you can go a few stores down to buy the same touristy items for a few bucks cheaper. They have soooooome specialty items(such as maple vinaigrette or spread) but not much variety. Simple, plain syrup is all you really need as a souvenir.

Gastown only! Go buy at Hudson House! Do not buy it from here! It’s $ 3 more expensive than Hudson House just few stores down. 50ml: Maple store: $ 6, Hudson House $ 4.99 150ml: Maple store: $ 12, Hudson House $ 8.99 I went back and asked a lady for return/exchange and she refused to do any of them. I will make sure I will NEVER go back to this place!

I visited Vancouver recently and wanted to buy some«maple» product for my family. This is the first store I found in the famous Gastown. The staff are super nice and you can sample quite a few things before your purchase. Strong recommendation.

Pretty much for the maple connossieur, maple this, maple that. Tried their cookies samples, sweet but to me, I like my salmon cooked in a maple glazed, maybe I’m boring. They even have maple spread like a peanut butter. And you can even a maple shot to your espresso. Totally can see tourists into this. Nice seating area. Friendly service, Amex ok.

Can’t stop coming back for the rum maple syrup, but this time we decided to indulge in the maple with Grand Marnier(all maple flavors are available for sampling, so we know it’s delicious!). If you’re looking for macarons, gelato, coffee, or applied maple products and syrup, please visit.

It’s certainly TOURISTY but don’t complain much because they are very generous with their SAMPLES!!! We sampled almost everything that they had in the store from different variety of maple syrup to maple vinaigrette to maple flavored mustard, yummmmmm!!! If only I make pancakes at home. I would have gotten bottles of their dark maple syrup and if only I eat toast a lot in the morning would I have gotten their delicious cranberry maple jelly. delicious!!! During my visit there, I got their classic maple vinaigrette dressing and the maple mustard, omg, the mustard was nutty and delicious!!! Highly recommended. I also got a box of the maple tea for souvenir. My gf bought a couple bottles of their maple syrup along with the vinaigrette and also the tea. We each spent about $ 30 plus dollars… yeah it’s not a cheap store for just small little things but certainly one of the best spot if you’re looking to buy Canadian maple stuff around gastown. At least you can probably trust their quality a lot more than those at the other gift stores as we noticed mostly are just«fake flavoring» not the real maple. They also sell gelato that’s sweetened with maple instead of sugar.

It must be a Canadian thing ’cause I love maple. In fact I have a somewhat of an obsession with maple. It’s Maple syrup heaven. Of course most of them are bottled in those decorative tourist trap type bottles. The same as you can get anywhere else in G-town. The one thing that caught my attention was the Maple flavor cotton candy. I had their beverage selection and it was nothing to impressive. The prices are hit and miss. The lady at the til was either tired or hated working there. I got a cold feeling being there. I agree that the prices are over priced and you can go a few doors down to get the same item for cheaper. I will come back during the warmer weather for the maple gelato.

Why is everything so expensive here… My friends came to visit from the States and we were just looking around for some maple syrup candy for them to take home, the staff were very helpful and offered to let us try the maple syrup, and it was delicious, probably the best I’ve ever had… But then we are poor students so we were just looking at the candies, and seeing the price tag of $ 9.95 we slowly and silently moved out of the store and went down a few stores where the same kind of candy was $ 3.99 They have great products, in general, but some of the things they sell can be found elsewhere at a much cheaper price

Being a typical tourist, I walked in here because I wanted to buy some maple syrup for the folks back at home. I came here with family after eating a huge dinner but couldn’t refuse the gelato selection that was being displayed. It wasn’t just ANY gelato, it was gelato made with maple syrup! How delicious does that sound? I got the chocolate hazelnut gelato that was just the best gelato I have ever had. They had a large array of other flavors to choose from that I hope to try one day when I find my way back to Vancouver. Other than the gelato, they sell different types of maple syrup in different bottles and in different forms. All of the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about maple syrup and will help you out as much as they can. They let me try all the maple syrups they had and the maple butters. They don’t try to sell you things you don’t want either. I was very impressed with their customer service and their products! There is no dessert that Vancouver sells more of than gelato and this place is place to get it.

I remember Reena talk about Maple Lattes so I hope she’s had a chance to check this place out!. located in Gas Town just a few shops over from Steamworks, this is a little coffee shot that specializes in maple syrups… and GELATO!!! Who knew :) I have been wanting to try their Maple Lattes for a while so I took a pass on the ice cream /milk shake options. With real maple syrup that is used in their lattes, you get this nice hint in your latte, not over powering, just a nice sweetness, and authenticness… I was scared that it was going to be way too sweet but I was wrong. In the back they even sell maple syrup soaps. I’ve never heard of that before. there are some baked goods on their pastry case — the maple syrup and chocolate croissant looks like a sugar bomb! and their maple syrup and shortbread cookies look very tempting! There are a few small tables and chairs for mingling and conversation — good lighting and atmosphere.

This shop is a bit on the touristy side for my normal taste, but I stopped by while celebrating the departure of a friend from Vancouver. I was totally surprised by the kind welcome we received from the staff as we were a loud group obviously there mostly to browse. We were offered samples of maple syrup, butter, and mustard. The mustard was quite surprisingly delicious! I was also intrigued by the maple based rubs for chicken, beef, and fish. We picked up a few sweet maple goodies for the road and headed out, but I will definitely put this little shop on my list of places to visit with guests or shop for ‘Canadian’ gifts for my American family.

the sweetest group of people work here. just browsing, and they were about to close up shop, but they still gave me a 10-min rundown of their maple syrups, dressings, ice creams, how we can order online and ship to sf, etc… that ice cream… dude… i bought a maple candle as a souvenir for someone i know. he/she likes to light candles in the bathroom. imagine dropping a deuce but smelling pancakes instead, priceless… 8D

Oh my Maple! Yes, it’s a maple store filled with sugary maple lollipops, candies, syrups, jams, fudge, chocolate and toffee — need I go on? They also have soaps, vinegar, mustard and maple tea which I bought for my aunt the last year she visited and she absolutely loved it. My all time must have item is the salmon maple nuggets and the maple ice cream. Oh my gosh… I am so mapled-out I can’t even talk about maple syrup. But the decorative bottles are pretty to look at.

This place is like a joke that grows on you. Well, because it is a joke– a store of nothing but maple stuff? Wow! This is the epitome of Canada. However, maple is good– damn good. Have you tried the frozen maple deliciousness? You should! I’m staying away from it during the winter, but on the first warm day I’m lining up for some gelato. Yum.

«Maple syrup, eh?» said my annoying Australian friend mockingly as I pushed him through the doors of this Canadian wonderland. Having gone on relentlessly for months about Canada’s obsession with maple syrup(«Moose? Bet you lot eat that with maple syrup, eh?»), he(my annoying Australian friend) couldn’t help but visit Canadian Maple Delights in hopes of broadening his maple lexicon to create more stupid jokes. Standing there, amongst the maple syrup, maple candy, maple ice cream, maple sugar, maple butter and maple-themed toys, he was in a right state. I could see the cogs turning in his head as he digested the entire spectrum of all things maple. I, on the other hand, stood there with my maple ice cream, preparing myself for the slew of bad maple-related jokes that would undoubtedly be thrown my way in the coming hours.

Canadian Maple Delights is your one stop shop for all things maple. They’ve got maple syrup, maple candy, maple sugar, maple butter, maple soaps, maple vinegar, maple mustard, maple tea, and the list goes on. In addition to the maple items, Canadian Maple Delights also sells gelato and coffee and there’s a seating area in store too.
