Our passports were due up for renewal and my husband said– let’s go to this place, it has really good reviews online! I’m thinking– passport photos are pretty quick and basic, can it really be so much better that it’s worth the extra few minutes out of our way?
It turns out, yes it is worth it. Super quick and easy. You can tell he’s done a zillion of these– none of the «turn to your right, head up, head up, no, head down again, a little to the left now…» 4 of us were in and out in a flash, all for $ 10 per person incl tax.

was contemplating going to a chain store or the mall to get my passport photos done, Thank goodness I found D&R Photo. I was helped by Russell Otterbein, who efficiently explained the process, was ready with the camera and had a mirror right next to the photography area for last second adjustments. Russell said it would be 5 minutes so I headed over to the coffee shop and when I came back… TADA! photos in hand I waltzed out happy, relaxed, and with extra time to sip my coffee.
D&R also offers app to shop printing which I am totally going to try, way to be innovative!

I found this photo lab by chance about 5 years ago and have been using them for small and big orders. Sure you can go to Costco and Superstore for a little cheaper, but the quality and customer service is far superior here. Besides, sometimes I can’t be bothered to trek to and through these big box stores. They now have online ordering as well!

but parking really is non-​existent in this mini-​strip mall, next to the restaurant & Starbucks!
