I asked my girlfriend in July to marry me while on a fishing trip to British Columbia. As part of the surprise, I wanted engagement pictures in the very spot where I proposed. When I searched for a photographer, I got back literally 30+ choices with a myriad of options, all with drastic pricing range. Sure, I could have gone with a crew or chose that one person who claims to be the best with 20+ years of experience. I eventually narrowed my choice based on a sampling of portfolio images and found Doug. What we really enjoyed about Doug was his friendliness and his willingness to go beyond what you pay in order to capture that special moment.
