Another FANTASTIC event by Ayla~!! Gotta love her amazing Unilocal Elite Events! Thanks Craft Vancouver for hosting us and we had a great time! There was tons of drinks going around all night for sure. And the especially that cider, I loved the most! Such a good ginger cider which left me breathing heavy ginger into my body LOL. Barely any food though, was kinda sad, maybe had a bite of sandwich and a small small slice of pizza. It for sure needed more food since everyone was still hungry and 80% of the people left with wanting more. This event shouldn’t have been a tabled event, everyone should have been standing and mingling since there were TONS of new people. Getting people to NOT sit, and talk with each other is important especially with Unilocal Elite events: D I want to meet new people but I can’t especially when you are sitting at a table. The tall tables with high chairs are fine but the table events really do not fit me well. And the servers only served to those at the tables so those standing and trying to mingle with people barely got a bite. Regardless everything was running smoothly and I believe everyone had a fantastic time and enjoyed it all~!! :D Another event done and hope to see everyone at the next one~!! :D

Great event! I haven’t been to a Unilocal Elite event in a while and it was really interesting meeting so many new people. It was also my first time at Craft Beer Market and I was really impressed with the spacious interior and interesting architecture! There were plenty of tapas, drinks and of course, crafts that kept us busy all night. Although I had fun, I didn’t actually get to move around much since the other tables were all occupied throughout most of the event. I ended up speaking with mainly my fellow table mates for the couple of hours we were there. I had a good time though!

I had never been to the Craft Beer Market before and I’m so glad this event was held there! The venue was perfect: in a private spot located upstairs, overlooking the bar area of the Craft Beer Market. When we arrived, we checked in and then nestled into a table that was covered with stencils. I was a bit nostalgic as I was reminded of my childhood and days before tablets and video games were all kids cared about. We were all given three drink tickets which we could use for a selection of three drinks: 1) Whistler Black Tusk Ale 2) Lonetree Apple Ginger Cider 3) Blasted Church — red or white wine I think three was a good number for free drinks. It’s not so much that people are being greedy and not so little that you don’t get to try an assortment. I did, however, wonder where the Parallel 49 was. Maybe it got replaced with Blasted Church? Regardless, Blasted Church was a great tasting wine. The brand ambassador was informative and friendly and told us the interesting story behind the name. I didn’t get a chance to chat with the ambassador for Lonetree but I was impressed with the cider. At first, I thought it was far too gingery but it grew on me. By the next day, I was craving for more! It was also nice to try samples from Craft’s menu. The servers did a great job making sure everyone got to sample something. The little falafel bites were my personal favourite. After a short presentation of speeches, Ayla told us all to change tables. I’m glad she did! It was good to freshen things up and chat with more fellow Unilocalers. Disappointed I missed out on the bead table though. That looked so neat! Still, a really great event. We love our Unilocal phone chargers and our toques! Thanks for another fun event Ayla, Alex G, Craft and everyone else! Oh, and big shout out to the servers who did an excellent job checking up on us and making sure our drinks were filled!
Had lots of fun at tonight’s craft event, my very first as a Unilocal Elite newbie! :) Upon checking in, we were presented with a neat« Unilocal Elite» portable charger, and drink tickets we could use to order 3 types of drinks: 1) Whistler Black Tusk, 2) Lonetree Ginger Apple Cider, or 3) Blasted Church wine(red or white). There were several tables set up with fun crafting supplies, and when we arrived, each station was already buzzing with activity! Craft activities included adult colouring sheets, beading charms, painting, origami, stencilling, and some paper cutting activities. I tried 2 of the drinks — the Lonetree Ginger Apple Cider(a little on the fence about the ginger taste.), and the Blasted Church white wine(loved it!), plus 1 each of the bite-sized samplers(the Harvest Garden Sandwich & the Tuscan Veggie flatbread). Sadly I missed out on the other food samples, but I guess they vanish pretty fast if you’re not paying attention. I was too focused on crafting — rocking the adult colouring, bead bracelet making, and random painting! Haha! What I really enjoyed about tonight was meeting lots of friendly Unilocalers for the first time, and also seeing a few familiar faces from previous Unilocal events! :) This community is so warm & welcoming! Though I didn’t manage to catch some of your names, I look forward to getting to know each of you better at future events! :) Kudos to Ayla C., Alex G., Unilocal & all the sponsors for this awesome crafty event! Thanks for a great evening!
