the good: quality toppings, great selection. the bad: who knows how long the pizzas sit; warming in their oven is inadequate as the pizza is still cold when served. If I can time it so they bring out a fresh pizza as I walk by, I’ll definitely grab a slice(and who doesn’t love a fresh slice, eh?)

The slices at Fire Pizza are so good that it makes no sense to write a review about it. I figure if you don’ t want to wait in a line up of mouth breathing homo sapiens at your favourite pizza spot, its better to not write a rave review about it on Unilocal.Instead, turn to your closest friend and whisper”…fire pizza”. Done! Thats it ! Keep this place on the down low. I recommend maximizing usage of smoke bombs and head fakes to throw the masses of your trail. Ignore feeling ridiculous because I believe things as good as Fire Pizza should be protected with silence and snobbery Their pizza recipes are hands down the most innovative and flavourful when it comes to the«everyman» $ 2 dollar slice. Wicked flavour combos such as Honey Garlic Pork, BBQ Sausage, Stir Fry, and, Spinach Feta are my favs. Their pizza won’t shrivel your mouth from stroke inducing levels of sodium, bung up your arteries, or induce type 2 diabetes from mindless amounts of sugar in the doe. It tastes as if there is a secret ingredient to be guessed at. Delectable. Fire Pizza is like what the The X-Files was in its prime. Addictive, mysteriously delicious, popular, and something to do on Friday night. The only gripe I have is the line up etiquette. Can some of you eager pizza purchasers waiting in line relax and give the person in front of you room so that your not burning their ear hairs with your mouth fumes? If you stand that close to somebody, unintentional sodomy is an accident waiting to happen. Not on my watch. We aren’t barefooted shit-asses that need to beat each other with bone clubs for food, nor are cross-eyeds devoid of all ass-to-crotch awareness. Personal space people ?! Standing close to me won’t speed things up? Not too long ago I was pulling my wallet out of my back pocket to pay and ended up elbowing some dude in the stomach. Another time I turned around while waiting to pay and ended up accidentally turnstiling some nimrod in the jaw. Ya why don’t you stand closer to me you nimrod … Other than that. Stay away from my favourite pizza joint ;)

Really great pizza with good enough customer service, but every time I go there the price changes, you’d think 2 slices with extra sauces/dips would be the same every time but I have yet to have the same price twice.

For Pizza by the slice this place isn’t too bad. It’s not the best tasting Pizza, however, on a dime it’s awesome. $ 2 actually gets you a decent size pizza. They do have a pizza and pop special. I got the all cheese.

Oh my gosh. The best pizza I’ve ever had. They have so many varieties, that are always rotating. The Chiplotle Beef and the honey mustard were the best. 2 slices and a «pop» for $ 5 total. No matter which slice. Killer deal, and killer pizza.

This place is always busy but I don’t understand why. I keep going back to give it another try and the pizza is ok… but honestly there is much better pizza on the Drive. Yes they have a wider selection than most but it’s largely old and drooping and far from fresh. Though maybe I just went at the wrong time of day

Review is based on dining in by the slice. Solid pizza that uses fresh ingredients generously and look very appetizing. Staff are very friendly, make jokes with customers, and offer to heat up the pizza if you like. Line ups are served quickly so there’s not much of a wait.

Love the owner and the pizza. Came by for 2 slices filled with toppings and pop. Came up to 5 $ tax in. That’s a deal if I’ve ever seen one.

I had a pizza with massive meatballs and massive sausage that’s dope. Great pizza by the slice joint with a variety and they open late like after midnight-early morning late. A little on the thin side(pizza and crust) but that’s ok.

More options to choose from than your usual pepperoni and beef & blue cheese. I especially like how fresh and colorful looking the veggies always are. If I’m commercial drive this is my pizza stop.

Came here on a random Friday night. If heard a bunch of good things about it and everything that was said is true. It’s a solid pizza plAce. It’s definitely not the best, but they have great service. We got the extra large Hawaiian and it was pretty tasty. Pineapples were fresh enough, meat was salty enough, crust was satisfying. Leon? Also put parm cheese n for us before we took the takeout pie home. Good bang for your buck!

For the most part I am not big on pizza but this little hole in the wall restaurant has me hooked! I had walked past it so many times and never noticed it until last week– I have been missing out!!! $ 2 for a huge slice of ‘not your typical toppings’ pizza… you can’t go wrong! They do not cheap out on the toppings either. I had a mushroom and bacon slice for my first round. I ordered a feta and spinach slice to go but my tastebuds were not done dancing, I had to eat the second slice. I had a bite of my friends stir fry slice– its literally a hearty meal on crust-potatoes, broccoli, peppers and other fresh ingredients. Sooo good!!! There is hardly enough seating to accommodate all the people in line and usually I would complain but this pizza is soo delicious, I wouldn’t mind if they sat me on the floor. Okay, i’m exaggerating: p I should mention that I was tipsy when I ate here(everything greasy is delicious after alcohol) BUT I will update my review after eating there while sober– Ha! *Update* Don’t be silly like me and rate food that you ate while you were under the influence. I tried this place again-sober– and to be sure, I bought 4 slices: o 3 chicken something something and one beef something something. The pizza was delicious but not worth 5 stars so bringing this down one star

Fire pizza used to be great but is now no better than Uncle Fatih’s at Broadway and Commercial, a longer-standing Vancouver staple. Under new management, the pizza tastes less great(it’s still okay), the waits are longer, and if I see the middle-aged blonde worker berate her staff members one more time, while delivering snarky customer service, I will not be coming back.

My sister usually orders the pizza with chipotle dressing. It’s very good. I happen to be in the area so I tried the single slices. The spinach feta has a lot of spinach and feta. You can buy two slices and a pop for $ 5. Each slice is $ 2. What a deal! I work along the Cambie Corridor and the Uncle Fat pizza is the same deal but definitely a lot less topping and not as good. And the whole pizza is a great deal, too.

Well, a new year means new things to try! I’ve always walked past Fire Pizza in the past but last night was finally the night! Bestie and I had had a very fun evening and our plans for burritos were dashed due to a pesky friends and family night(we’ll get you next time, damnit!) So instead we went for our second choice, the ever faithful friend, pizza. The pizza looked a little dry and old when we stepped in, and I was worried it wouldn’t live up to my pizza needs — I shouldn’t have been concerned! I got a slice of tropical veggie and a slice of butter chicken(yep, you read that right!) and both were phenomenal! The very nice man at the register asked us what we wanted on our pizza before handing it over, sprinkling feta, tzatziki and parmesan on Bestie’s feta and spinach, and chilli flakes and parmesan on mine before we squeezed ranch and hot sauce all over them. I got mine home with minimal nibble damage and gleefully chowed down! The tropical veggie had delicious chunks of potato, and sweet sweet pineapple for that tropical twist. It was surprising and unique — very tasty! The butter chicken was divine! So succulent and juicy, and the flavours were rich and worked very well with the pizza format. I was very happily surprised and had a great experience at Fire! I’ll definitely be back for more pizza, and I certainly understand why it’s so busy all the time!
