I brought my smart grinder to these guys and I was not sure what to expect. They charged me 40bucks and I got my grinder back in a few days, good as new! I will definitely remember these guys as I have several Breville appliances.

I took a Breville coffee machine here to be fixed under warranty. «Seven to ten days,» I was told. On day 11 I called — «someone will call you back this afternoon.» They didn’t. On day 12 I called again — «someone will call you back this afternoon.» This time they did to say the work had been completed. When I picked up the machine a panel on the back had not been put back in place correctly, and the man serving me took it to be redone. After 10 minutes I was called over and told«it’s supposed to be like that.» I pointed out another machine of the same model that was correctly fitted. «We didn’t touch that part,» the engineer said, although you had to remove it make repairs. «I can replace it in two days,» he said. «We could hammer it back into place,» said another assistant, «but that might cause more damage to the machine.» Hammer it?! I took the machine and left. I would recommend finding an alternative place to get your Breville machine fixed.

This place is awesome. I’ve taken a Breville espresso machine and a KitchenAid blender here to get repaired, which was done successfully and quickly. They have a great way of doing things — they quote you a price for the repair(a low price!) and then if it turns out they will need to order parts that are more expensive than they expected, they call you to get approval. The people who work here are courteous and nice. Prompt repairs, too.

Unfortunately in Chinatown I am often less than pleased with service, so I honestly wasn’t expecting much when I popped in to check for a reasonably priced crock pot, but I left a very happy and satisfied customer. After browsing for about two minutes and being pleasantly surprised by their extensive selection, a nice young man approached and asked if I needed a hand. I told him what I was after and he took me to their slow cooker/crock pot section. I found exactly what I was looking for on sale, but also noticed that on their price tags they also show you the prices of their competitors and just about everything in store is twelve-percent cheaper. The slow cooker came to be about the same price as a used one would be on Craigslist AND came with a one year warranty(and a free cup for using a Unilocal check-in!). On my way out I also noticed that they carry dehydrators for about $ 30 which is HUGE for us who like to eat raw. I definitely recommend this place for any and all kitchen/home appliance needs! I will certainly be back for that dehydrator soon.
