We can’t all shop at Harry Rosen regularly, but for those critical staple pieces that have to be great, there is simply no better place (in Vancouver at least). Each time I have shopped here, my service with Terry has been stellar. Essentially every piece I have bought from him has been first rate with lasting appeal. On the rare occasion that I was unhappy with an item, Terry was able to make it right for me. The level of service provided at this store is nearly unmatched at any business, let alone retail apparel. Contrast this experience to The Bay, Holt Renfrew, or even Nordstrom’s, and a value proposition begins to emerge even at the cost of entry.

Walked into here and Oakridge to check it out. I’ve been to the pacific centre one before.
This store carries just as good of a selection, as nice of a store, and an even better staff than the downtown store does. I was instantly approached by a guy working there who assisted me with everything.
The only downside is it was a bit of a pushy experience. It felt like the guy wanted me to buy everything he had me trying out. Which leads me to go off topic and say that while Dolce and Gabbana is nice, it is way overpriced.
I’d give it a 4.5÷5, 5 being absolutely no flaws.
They have a policy where you can order if they don’t have your size, go try it out, and reject it. Also free tailoring.

Went suit shopping during their suit sale. Made an appointment with Andy on what used to be the Boss side. He put aside some suits for me because I told him what I was looking for, he picked great priced and non-​boring pieces for me. All of my old suits are either too big or too small for me now (weight fluctuation and gym frequency make it impossible for me to be a consistent suit size) but Andy did a great job. He never tried to upsell me or tried to get me to buy more things or show me things he knew were out of my price range. I know some people think the sales people are like car salesman and super pushy and money hungry but if you don’t want that then go see Andy Soon! Got a few shirts too, good sale prices, a pair of suede blue shoes with an extra comfortable rubber sole for day to day wear. Happy with my purchases and even happier with service.

I had purchased a Burberry belt for my husband 2 years prior, and due to a defect in the material (not a fault of Harry Rosen’s), it broke. At no fuss, Harry Rosen was able to refund me the full amount, and help me select another belt by Hugo Boss.
Fast forward 2 years, the leather on our Hugo Boss belt remained immaculate — amazing Italian leather, but the buckle had tarnished beyond repair, and eventually just fell apart all together.
The Manager was able to re-​reimburse us near the original cost of the belt, despite it being 2 years old, and we selected another belt, which will hopefully last for many years to come.
I really appreciate how knowledgeable the staff are, and how much they really value their customer’s happiness. Walking in there 2 years after a purchase, I really didn’t expect much, but the customer service had vastly exceeded our expectations. My husband makes all his high-​end apparel purchases here, and we highly recommend it!

Okay, I am gong with 5 stars because Terry, the manager on duty this morning (o8/​24), really helped me out. I will not get into specifics but I appreciate his help with my matter. Reading the back of the receipt I was not able to determine their refund/​exchange policy. I called and spoke to lovely Stephanie, when I arrived Terry assisted me. I think perhaps this was my second time buying something from HR, it is definitely for a man with taste. Expensive taste.

Guys, if you’re looking to get a suit this is the best place in town to get it. They’ve got the latest mens fashion too. The staff are all superfriendly, knowledgeable and have been around for a long time!

Surprising to see only 1 review? I find the not just the service impeccable, but their professionalism, not high-​pressure nor snotty attitude like I’ve experienced at Sinclair Centre and Holt Renfrew.
When I brought in a few of my custom-​tailor shirts (from 3 – 4 years ago) earlier this year, one of the sales associates, Alfred, said no problem, re-​measured the sleeves, the back, to bring it in for a more tailored look, which was nice. I sure did lose some poundage there from all the eating in the past 5 years, lol.
And not once did i feel pressured or obligated to buy anything. 5 shirts that had to be re-​done!

This is my usual stop, for actual purchases, more so than the downtown location. This HR location knows me better than the downtown store and they are friendlier and more welcoming to me. Customer service is of utmost importance with HR.
Examples:
— Free alterations for the life of the garment. I’ve brought in many things to get alterations
— One time, the plating on a cufflink I had, started to dis-​colour. I had it for at least 3 – 4 years. I didn’t have a receipt, but the price tag was still on the box. I brought it in and they gave me a full store credit.
