Harvey’s Stores

My experience with Harvey’s is similar to Ed K. They were very happy to take my money but afterwards the customer service has been terrible. They sent the fridge with a damaged door and a dishwasher that has never worked. Stay way from Electrolux! Thank goodness we bough the extended warranty. After the manufacture warranty expired the dishwasher worked for about another year without problems. It has now stopped working and we have come to find out that Harvey’s never sent the paperwork for the extended warranty. I am now trying to work with the extended warranty company.

This is a place that you need to stay away from.
I am a huge supporter of smaller Mom & Pop type shops but this place is the worst.
I have bought quite a few sets of appliances from them over the years. While it was a decent place 4 – 5 years ago its gone straight downhill since.
Right now I am having major issues with a dishwasher I bought there, 6 repairs for a less than year old machine. Harvey’s wont do a thing to back up my lemon.
Also did a suite with all new appliances last year, the fridge had been dropped and was warped and made noise like a gravel truck. Harveys did nothing. It took me a few weeks of hounding the manufactorer to get it replaced. Now after a year it has new issues.
Have talked to the owner a few times, he promises action then never hear back from him.
If you have a complaint they are on the verge of hostile. If you buy from one employee none of the others will lift a finger to help you out since you’re not their client and they don’t get any $$, commission based system that really doesn’t work for the clients.
I could go on and on… avoid this place and you will be happy.

I walked in to a nicely presented store that had home décor options in different categories. I went in their looking for a fridge for my own research purposes to figure out my options since my fridge broke down the other day. I had the best customer service with a service guy whom was honest of what I need to be looking for in a fridge. Very helpful. The prices were very reasonable.
