So great after a night of drinking. Owned by the same guys as Six Acres. My favourites are the Yes Ma’am(mac ‘n cheese inside a grilled cheese? what a concept!) and the Melter Skelter. Ask to add some Sriracha in it, your drunken self will not regret it.

So good. I had the one with mac & cheese in it and my gf got the art basil one. So. Good.

The very best grilled cheese I’ve ever had. Perfectly paired with a mini fanta. I wish they were open all the time. I crave them constantly

A literal hole-in-the-wall windowfront; one guy mans the outfit from cash to delivery. Three Cuisinart grillers, one soup vat, and a covered refrigerated zone essentially comprises the entire space. You will get a little cross contamination of flavours — my sandwich had the faintest sweet taste on a couple bites, likely from the honey-infused«Art Basil» sandwich that was cooked adjacent mine on the same little household nonstick appliance. The sandwiches are acceptable for the price. 3 to 6 bucks gets you anything on the menu. For $ 6 I had the«Melter Skelter» — a pepper jack and pickled jalapeño mess. It was supposed to have BBQ chips in it but I didn’t seem to taste it or feel any crunch? The sourdough bread on which all sandwiches are made, is fairly good albeit nothing extra special. Grilled both sides well. A little chewy and tangy enough. I had to sprinkle a little salt to bring the flavour of the cheese and toppings out over the flavour of the bread. I got pickles on the side for 50 cents extra. They were boring little out-of-a-jar kind when I was hoping for a nice crunchy and salty deli style. Overall, a totally fine lunch option, given the value. But I think it would taste way better as its original late-night after-bar spot, after having a couple bevvies. I am not sure if there’s enough hand sanitation between money handling and food handling, so perhaps avoid coming here if you are squeamish about food safety.

I love Hi-Five grilled cheese sandwiches. I used to always get the Cheddie Veddar but I switched over to the yes ma’am. I look forward to these sandwiches every Thursday night. Plus the tomato soup is amazing!
