Joyride

I went in to Joyride with a terrible acrylic manicure from a different nail salon and very little knowledge of anything about acrylic nails. Sadhbh took care of my nails, explained what the other salon had done wrong, and fixed them up all while being a joy to sit with. My nails are absolutely perfect and she made sure they were exactly how I wanted them and she answered all my questions about them. The salon itself is very nice, iPads instead of magazines, beautiful décor. And the prices are really competitive. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

I saw Joyride had just opened up less than a block away from my place. Jumped at the opportunity to visit and get a shellac manicure.
Firstly, the interior decoration is gorgeous — I love the purple, minimalist theme with the skate-​board «riding» undertones. Pretty cool.
They immediately ask if you’d like coffee, tea or water. They give you a menu on their iPad to choose from. I asked for a latte.
I sat down and got not only a great manicure but my nail technician (Maria) was great because she was very personable and really cared about our conversation and my overall satisfaction. I sat down, they took my scarf and coat, hung it up and within a minute or two I was presented with a lovely latte in a neat coffee cup complete with a side of macaroon with the letter «J». Very thoughtful presentation.
After my manicure, about a week later one of my nails started to bubble and peel off. I get a lot of shellacs in my day and have never seen this. I went back to Joyride and they immediately sat me down and redid my nail for free. I was super impressed with this! My shellac has lasted me more than two weeks now.
Will definitely be coming back to get a pedicure — thanks for opening up such a cute joint in the neighbourhood!

I had a great first experience at Joyride for a pedi and gel polish mani. The space is very warm and welcoming and the staff are all kind and attentive! Everything has been thought of so all you’re left to do is sit down and relax. I love all the natural products they smell so amazing and my skin feels so soft, definitely will be coming back and telling everyone I know!

Wow– unbelievable service and an absolutely delightful experience. The attention to detail is all encompassing at Joyride. Will be recommending it to all the girls in my life!
