This is one of my favourite place to dine here. I have probably been here over 50 times. They have changed management and renovated the place about 2 years ago. I love the décor. It is more trendy with nice music compared before. Service is really great. Love the deserts too. If you come here on Sunday, they have prime rib special.

Showcase is a solid place to get boarding gear. Kalki(no idea if i spelled that correctly) was awesome in recommending sale boots and they have free boot molding/help you with your repairs. Case in point: the first time riding in my new boots, one of the laces snapped off, so they called the 32 rep, replaced my laces free of charge. Two years later, my snowboard binding clip snapped off(too much gymming) and they replaced that(a different one but same function), also free of charge. Beyond Kalki, all the sales associates are super knowledgable and friendly… and if you’re affiliated with UBC’s ski club/have an edge card, you get a 10? 15? 20?% discount. I forget… but yeah, best store for your w 4th needs!

After being ‘IGNORED’ by all the other similar stores in the same vicinity of Showcase, I wandered in and was BLOWNAWAY!!! The customer service was off the chain! And it wasn’t just one employee either, it was them ALL! I spent a grand in the place and would have spent MORE if they had ski boots for sale. Love, love, love the customer service. Loved what I bought and would recommend that you stay away from other similar stores around and go straight to Showcase first! Amazed with the service!!!

This used to be a big Westbeach store, but in a re-branding effort the name was changed to Showcase Snowboards. It’s still the same big shop with lots of skate/surf/board gear and a dj booth you’ll remember from the WB days. I went in with a friend who was looking for some snowboard boots. Boots and boards are located up the few stairs in the back of the shop. We got great help from Keith. He knew the right questions to ask to determine that my friend got the right size and he had a sound knowledge of how one wants his boot to fit. He wasn’t at all pushy in his sales and a pretty cool guy in general. They carry all the board brands you desire, and often have sales and discounted prices — so watch for those and save some money. The entrance level of the shop is mostly clothing and they have a fair selection of street fashion items, in addition to clothes you’d wear on the mountain. There is also a wall of Etnies and other skate shoes if you’re in the market for some new kicks.
