I came into this store looking for an Indian or Yogic greeting card and possibly a gift of the same nature. Mr. Khan was very kind in showing me different items, explaining them in detail and also letting me play a chanting bowl. He seemed genuinely concerned and I ended up buying a very unique greeting card that is made from organic seeds and that you can plant in the soil and have it grow. At the end of the transaction he tied a mooli to my wrist for good luck. The items in his store are made by village artisans in India so they do not have that commercial feel to them. Together with the wonderful customer service, I would definitely go there again for unique gifts.

Amazing collection of quality Indian handcrafts and merchandise to buy as gifts or for yourself. The owners are amazingly helpful and informative on everything they sell. The owner gave us a mauli thread to wear and said to come back any time for a replacement. Such a pleasant experience.

What a lovely store! The smell of delicious tuberose(I ended up buying the oil) drew me in. The owner described every item I looked at, filling in detail of its origin and meaning. I wanted so many things! I walked away with a few items I could easily fit in my suitcase, and that I will look at and smile when back home. Wonderful, authentic Indian gifts!

Absolutely my favorite place to shop for presents. The people there are extremely helpful and refreshingly polite. Fairly large range of products, all brought from India, all with a story behind them. Price wise you can find everything but I’d you’re willing to pay more, high quality is a guarantee. Best of all, color and quality come with a smile.

My friends and I wandered into this shop, expecting to simply browse and go. Turns out they had a wonderful selection of Indian handicrafts at reasonable prices. We all came away with 2 – 3 items. The owners were so friendly and helpful; they even tied Hindu red string bracelets on our wrists, which was a nice touch. Overall it was a surprisingly enjoyable shopping experience!

It’s got to be the only Indian retail in Yaletown? Reasonably priced too. Anything to do w/Indian culture: scarves, crafts, pottery, mats, accessories, it’s a go-to place to find something original. been open 4 months. Parking in yaletown – you know how it is. Friendly service too.
