I had Coconut Curry with rice. It was one of the best curries i ever had. It was moderate spicy and the chicken inside the curry was very tasty. The portions are big and the price is very reasonable. The staff is nice. I will definitely go back there to try other foods.

Delicious combos. My personal favourite is the combo A(pork patties and beef rolls). Staff are very friendly and remember your orders if you’re a frequent visitor. The restaurant is clean and seating is comfortable. They serve their water in neat little mason jars. Prices are decent for the area.

Place is modern and clean. Presentation is appealing but the phở broth is absolutely bland, no flavour whatsoever and that’s disappointing. You don’t need MSG to have flavorful broth. I really hope they improve their broth because its hard to find a nice clean phở place in metro Vancouver, and if they do I will be back to update my review.

Pleasant atmosphere and nice décor, beautiful paintings. Setting is more upscale then most phones the menu was set up nicely with ordering custom dishes encouraged. Nice service water refilled quickly.

Been here a few times for lunch or dinner. No lineups. Place is clean. Servers are friendly. Convenient location with meter parking upfront. I like the fact that they have no MSG in their cooking. Beef and beef ball phở with pork and prawn salad rolls are my default dishes to order. Mediocre in taste but will come back due to the convenience of its location and the fact that the restaurant isn’t as ‘grungy’ as typical phở restaurants can be. They give you lots of personal space without being over attentive. They have some reading material at the corner as well so if you come alone, you can entertain yourself with them.

A friend brought us here for lunch on Saturday. This small diner was decorated carefully with some interesting details! The service was nice, food not bad. The Phở can be described as authentic and fresh. Price reasonable. Will come again!

Came back Thursday night, had seafood phở. It was amazing. Server was attentive and nice. Soup flavor was fresh and light. Will come back again.

I was excited to have phở for lunch until I took my first bite. The broth was very bland, more bland then any phở I have had in my life. It bordered on being hot water more than a broth. Prices are above average, but expected for Yaletown. The dish contained a below average amount of meat. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable, but quality of food is king for me, and my meal was missing it. I would not recommend this restaurant and would not return myself

Very underwhelming. The restaurant itself is clean with cool looking décor. Server was quick and friendly. The food unfortunately did not reflect the nice looking restaurant. We both ordered bowls of phở and deep friend spring rolls. When the phở arrived the presentation of the food was pretty lame. It was not a bowl overflowing with soup noodles and toppings as one would be accustomed to. The broth was alright, no msg as they advertise on their sign but maybe something they want to consider as their broth needs some help. Noodles and toppings were good. Spring rolls were mediocre. There are a number of better vietnamese restaurants out there that serve up a much tastier and better looking bowl of phở.

Pretty good Vietnamese that stays open later than most spots in that area(aside from the glitzy spots in Yaletown proper). Not a huge selection, but covers the basics well. Not as cheap as some phở places, no, but nothing near Yaletown tends to be very cheap. Then again, better furniture and décor than your stereotypical phở hole-in-the-wall for not all that much more.

This place is a must visit! They have delicious msg free phở and use very high quality ingredients. The pineapple lettuce rolls are fantastic. Also the combo b — lemon grass chicken and springrolls with rice and salad for $ 13 and change is great value! They have a nice patio and the restaurant is very clean!!! Good for eat in or takeout.

I came here with a coworker yesterday who recommended it as one of the better Phở places in Yaletown. Since it is Yaletown it is a bit more expensive than your standard hole in the wall Phở place, but it is also much more clean and nice inside. I got the beef and beef brisket phở with added veggies, and found it to be quite filling even though I got the small size. One thing I really liked was that the broth wasn’t overly salty which I have experienced at other phở places. The server(I think her name was Meika) was also very nice and attentive, filling our water before it was empty, Id definitely go back for some rainy day phở.

3.5 star. Just tried this place for lunch after a Vietnamese friend suggested it. The restaurant looks a lot nicer and cleaner than most phở joints. Nice Vietnamese artwork on the walls that are on sale. The beef phở was hot and fresh, with a large serving of meat and almost too much noodle for the size of bowl(ordered a small). The flavor of the phở soup has too much star anise. The salad rolls are good here. So are the fresh coconuts(unless they run out). The wonton soup made me sick. It looked old… so no shock it made me sick. I’ll only come back here for the salad rolls and coconuts.

4 stars for the chicken wings & ambience, though if you’re a phở connossieur, I’d rank their Special a 3 – 3.5 compared to the hardcore, hole in the wall Kingsway ones in East Van: there’s would have tripe and tendon for their House special. granted, i doubt the cosmopolitan crowd here would notice that lol. Wings taste like tangy, sour, yet sweet, yet there’s more: a nice kick to it too. A wet variety sauce, after it’s been deep fried, so not dry rub like Phom Phen’s. In a way, hard to compare apples and oranges but for sure, I’ll return here just for the wings, and the coconut caramel flan — which was sold out ;( Nicer décor for a Viet place due to its Yaletown area. In a way, one could say it’s fusion style, as menu has no Viet characters whatsoever, but the kitchen is authentic. Good service, server content for us to share their big special for 2 ppl, for $ 14. Yes, it would’ve been quite a bit much for one person to eat it all, good for 2 regular bowls easily at other places. Impressive they accept AMEX. Plenty of metered parking.

Nothing better than a hot bowl of noodles on a cold night! Little Saigon is walking distance for me and when my buddy asked me to meet him there on Friday night I was a yes! I had a bowl of their Rare Beef Noodle Soup and a Spring Roll. The spring roll was awesome! Very fresh! The beef soup hit the spot too! Nice and hot! Excellent on a cold night! Little Saigon(LS) is very similar to an authentic Vietnamese restaurant only 2 things… 1LS is a lot cleaner than your typical Vietnamese restaurant. 2 Service was excellent! Not typical for a Vietnamese restaurant! Next time I come here I’ll try their house special soup bowl!

I want to reserve my review until I’ve tried it again, but I struggle with wanting to come back. Suffice it to say it’s not authentic. I spent weeks backpacking around Vietnam which was one of the most amazing culinary adventures I have ever been on. It’s unfortunate that we can’t find some of the same tastes in North America as can be discovered at a busy street corner food stand in Vietnam. That said — ask anyone who has been there and they’ll agree — phở tastes better in North America. It’s just something about the broth — fuller flavors. But not here at Little Saigon. The phở broth here is super bland. I’d hoped to find some other authentic dishes on the menu here and instead found it to be very much catering to a western crowd. I’d rather go to Baoqi nearby when I’ve got a hankering for Vietnamese, and I may be biased because that has become one of my favorite places to eat. When I came here with coworkers one afternoon, I felt like I’d consumed an empty meal. No real flavors. Nothing noteworthy. Not memorable. I’m just not a fan at all.

I guess I have been tasting too many Vietnamese restaurant, my expectations about this place is just average compare to other places in downtown. When my girlfriend and I went there, we were welcome by the waitress and quickly seated. We order beef meatballs noodle soup, spicy mussels and lemongrass pork chops & patties. The food were pretty good, the mussels and the pork & patties were tasty. On the other hand, the noodle soup was a little blend and the noodles were too soft for my pallet. I can conclude the tasting to be a «Hit or Miss», which was not consistent with other restaurant. Just a note, this place is pretty small in the Yaletown neighbourhood, beware of the long lineup, if you planned to go on dinner time on weekends. Beside that, all of you should give it a try, it’s a cute place to have Phở in Yaletown.

Happy with this little place so far. 3 – 6 pm daily appetizers are ½ price. They seem to have a small but loyal local following, including people just stopping in for the daily beer special. The service was fast and friendly. The tea was hot & complimentary. The salad rolls did have lettuce, mint, shrimp & vermicelli and the peanut sauce they came with was rich and delicious(add a little hot sauce from your table & it’s even better). Like others have said, they are expensive though, $ 9 for two salad rolls. Place was smaller, but well set up and clean. About 6 small tables on the large sidewalk outside complete with umbrellas. We’ll be back.
