Came in at 7 pm, Saturday and got a table right away. The two of us ordered the mini black sesame parfait and mini matcha parfait. Both were great, and the mini is just enough for one person.

Small cute dessert café. It’s mascot is a cat Mimi that doesn’t love you, hence the name Mimi bu(doesn’t in chinese) love you. It has some great asian flavor parfaits. The ice cream has great flavor and has a good mix of ingredients and looks quite pretty. My only complaint is I find the corn pops tasting a little artificially sugary. But the crunch is nice. GREAT(4⁄5) * Matcha Parfait — Green tea ice cream, read beans, mochi, gyuhi(different type of mochi), honey cakes, and corn pops * Black Sesame Parfait — Black sesame ice cream, mochi, gyuhi, honey cakes, corn pops

The waffle was a little too sweet for my liking. I could feel big chunks of sugar when eating it. As for the matcha parfait, liked it! Not the best matcha parfait I’ve tried in Vancouver area but still pretty decent. The place is small but very cute. Servers are very friendly.

Very popular small place that gets crowded fast, so it’s easier to get a table if you are only 2 people. We lucked out with our group of 8 because we waited outside at the front door BEFORE they opened so we could be the first to grab several small tables. We did dinner and dessert here, they have a small but delicious selectio of pastas and amazing parfaits. The parfaits here are so much better, bigger, and cheaper than the parfaits at Chicco in Downtown. $ 6 gets you a mini size(which was filling enough for me) and $ 7.75 gets you regular size(a giant size that two of the guys could barely finish). Most of the patrons were 1 — 2 persons per table and a few had their laptops out, so it can be hard to get a seat if you have a larger group than two people. Check out my photos for the parfait flavors. My personal favorite is the Cheesecake parfait. I would give this café 5 stars if they decorated the very plain interior space a little nicer(just add some fresh colored paint and a few paintings or photos), and if it could seat more people.

Went here tonight, just wanted to give it another try. On our first visit the black sesame parfait was great and so was the milk tea. The shop was busy. Our waitress was very friendly and very nice. As for tonight, the shop was empty. My wife ordered the tiramisu parfait and I had a waffle w/banana and Nutella and brownie. The parfait was good. My waffle, not so much. Waffle too dense. Brownie seems stale to me. You could make this at home. So! If you do go? Stick with their parfait.

This place has a cozy atmosphere, but can fill up pretty quickly and get kinda loud when its full. Very similar to most bubble tea places, or waffle places. Kinda small inside but service was good and polite. The food and parfaits were delicious. I’d go back if there not to busy. Not a fan when the place is full.

Ambiance: The decorations inside are quite cute and comfortable. Their theme is CATS. The size of this dessert place is small. Their high tables and high chairs are small as well, so the feeling is that this place is still spacious. There are also chairs and tables outside this dessert place but it is too cold to sit outside during winter or on a rainy day. Service: The server was very friendly and nice. She brought out our food quickly without waiting for too long. Food: My friend and I ordered a cup of hot taro milk tea and a cup of hot longan black tea as well as a large cappuccino coffee parfait. Both cups of tea were very sweet… or too sweet. The parfait was ok. The presentation of the parfait looked beautiful but when we tasted it, it was just ok. We did not have a «wow» feeling. Prices: The drinks are cheaper comparing to the ones in Richmond and some other bubble tea places in Vancouver. All of the food and drinks here are quite affordable. Would I like to come back to this dessert place? The answer is… No.

Overrated Cheesecake parfait 2 small scoops of icecream Cereal Sponge cake(not very fresh) Cheesecake yummy but only gave a small piece size of almond rocca. Dab of whipping cream Condensed milk strawberry crêpe Crêpe was too dense and chewy Condensed milk was non existent Strawberries sliced very thin equivalent to maybe 1 strawberry. Crêpe as is was non edible the saving grace was the 1 scoop of ice cream we added for $ 3.50(way too much for 1 scoop). Without the icecream this was a disaster it was so dry. Even with the icecream it just made it barely edible. They have to learn to make crepes properly. The ice cream was delicious same quality as marble slab… your better off going to marble slab. Would I go back… NO

It’s kind of difficult to get the servers attention and they don’t really come to you until you put your hand up so I guess the service could really be better but, the parfaits came out pretty quick but I’ve only come on slow days. Their parfaits were quite tasty and they were also very presentable aha. This place is super small, not great for groups larger than 4. I’ve been back here probably 4 times so I definitely recommend you come and try this place out

The parfaits here are delicious and so cute /fun to eat and the servers are incredibly nice! I got the cappucino cookie parfait and the matcha green tea parfait to go, and though takeout wasn’t as pretty as it would have been had it been served in the glass, it was still a very good serving size, quantity and blend of flavors and textures. Randomly, this place also serves a few hot food items like pasta, but I would go back just for the desserts. Be warned: this place is extremely small, so the wait time to sit could be a while(which is why I opted to take it to go) and you could easily walk by this place without knowing it was there. It’s also on the spendier side for an ice cream dessert, but I think its worth a try at least once.

This place is good. Very small. It serves the kind of Parfait that I am not used to. I ordered the sesame parfait. The ice cream was good. Its nice to have corn puff in there but the rice cake was nasty. Maybe not nasty for other. I personally don’t like rice cake. Its just so awkward. But this could just be me. I also had a taste of the hazelnut parfait. That was very chocolaty. I liked that one more. It had mushmellow in it. I say for having parfait outside, I expect to have home made waffle cookies or some sort of stuff on that line. Not prepackaged mush-mellow or corn puff etc. It just doesn’t seem right.

I give this place a 4.5 star because it’s a bit small and the washroom is kinda weird. I was here one night at around 8:00pm on a Sunday and it wasn’t fully packed. Thank god because that’s what happen the previous attempt to try this place. I was so full that night so I just ordered a half size of the strawberry parfait one. It’s pretty good. It actually reminds me of the ones they offer at Chicco on Robson. But of cos it taste different and this one is more focus on ice cream than anything. The half size one was perfect for me. A full size cost about 8 something and a half a size is about 6 something. Only difference was the amount of ice cream you get. That’s pretty much it. Nothing extra ordinary. They also offer Cantonese food that you can get from a Hong Kong Café. But they have very limited selection. Overall, it’s a good place for dessert. Not sure about their food food.

This is one of my favourite places to go for dessert! So cute and small inside, perfect for an after dinner place to go. I haven’t had any of their warm foods, just a selection of the parfaits. I really love the hedgehog and the green tea. The vanilla is VERY vanilla tasting, less sweet. but still good, and all are perfect for sharing.

My first time here and it wasn’t so bad. They ran out of mangoes when i was there, so i had to order something else but it was okay i really like their tiramisu parfait, the toppings are so good but it didn’t really remind me of tiramisu. Their hedgehog waffles are also pretty good. Its smaller than the ones at Nero’s but cheaper. From food to décor, everything was cute and Instagram worthy! The place was actually very tiny and hidden but there was also outdoor seating. It was hard for me to find the place, because the building said«BUBBLETEA» instead of «mimibuloveme» but i kinda like how its hidden. Over all, very cute place and servings! :)

Saw this reviewed on the front page of Unilocal on April 13th and had to book mark it. I took the Food Bloggers Meet-Up Group that I am a part of here(I hosted the event) as well as invited some Unilocal Elites whom I met at the first time at the last UYE to join. I appreciated how this was transit accessible for everyone coming from different directions. Huge plus that this was open within reasonable hours. Warning that this place is very tiny… like shoe box tiny. The line up may be intimidated but it is not that bad when you factor in the size of the place. I am very aware that there are some amazing dessert places in Japan, however, as I was told by another fellow Unilocaler, this is close as it will get in the city. Unlike most Asian dessert places, they actually accept credit cards which was a saving grace. The parfaits were around $ 8 which was cheaper than the 4 cups of shaved plain ice that I had a week prior. Almost insulting on the other place really. The parfait was beautifully arranged. I had the Green Tea flavored that had a layer of red beans. The banana parfait was amazing. What made it amazing what that they actually used banana flavored ice cream unlike other dessert places that just use vanilla ice cream with banana sauce. They went all the way. The same goes for the hedgehog parfait. The service was really fast. Our server was so polite and sweet. A far cry from what we experienced at icy bar. Just a warning that this place was hard to find ’cause there was nothing written on the outside of the building, no décor to stick out either. Thankfully I had the address on hand. There is a sign that says bubble tea, however, this is not a bubble tea house.

So the fat cute-ish cat with no neck that is their logo actually does NOT love you. According to our kawaii and sweet server(who was the only person running the show in the somewhat dilapidated shop out in the middle of nowhere yet close to Oakridge Mall), «bu» means«not». Mimi NOT love me. To rub it in, their free-wifi password is Mimi[not]loveyoutoo. Are you feeling the love yet? Also, their web presence is useless. Menu pictures on Mimibuloveme’s Facebook site are outdated and it looks like no one has been there since August-2014. Their actual web page is also uselessly«under construction». Customer service is A+. Server is attentive. I had no sooner sat in my seat when a glass of water slid onto the table right in front of me. Totally un-rushed service(although at the same time, it was 6pm and the place was dead dead dead). The concept is like Chicco Coffee and Dessert Bar on Robson, except the parfaits are a bit cheaper and they are designed and presented much better. — You get a long metal spoon instead of a fragile plastic one. Great for digging deep into your tall glass. — Ingredients are also somewhat better. All parfaits come with honey cake and puffed wheat for a mix of soft scoops and crunchy fun. — The best improvement over Chicco is the scoop of ice cream at the bottom: You can start slowly from the top and not ration so much ice cream because once the ice cream on the top is gone, you still have ice cream on the bottom to help you finish up the rest of what’s in your cup. — They take credit cards. This combination of factors made Mimibuloveme a much more enjoyable experience than Chicco. I tried the Hedgehog($ 7.50) and it was rather good, with a decent amount of ice cream, allowing you to get some ice cream with every scoop of what is in the rest of the parfait, including dark chocolate cake, honey cake, and crunchy bits(honey puffed wheat?). If you prefer you can get your parfait on a waffle instead.

I always remind myself, NO sweet on weekday! So I always looking forward to weekend then I can have dessert. I have been living in this area a decade; I didn’t know Mimibuloveme around the corner until my friend told me so. It’s very small dessert place and only has few tables inside. They open 7 days a week, 3pm-11pm on weekdays and 6pm-11pm on weekends. It specializes for parfait! I had tiramisu parfait and it was ok. The ice cream kinda melted when it served. My hubby ordered the pasta and it was mediocre. I would say their ice cream is not the best and also no comparison with Earnest. If you’re really craving for dessert on weekdays, it’s good place to satisfy your craving.

I’m curious if this place changed owners(or chefs) because the food here has definitely improved and I would have probably given them 4 stars if I had a Unilocal account three years ago! The parfaits are still quite similar to before but we really enjoyed how they were topped off with macarons rather than fruit. The large balls of mochi were perfect and tasted like they were handmade, while the mini corn puffs seemed like they were of better quality than before. The waffle dish was excellent, as the matcha ice cream, mochi balls, mochi squares, and red beans all complemented each other perfectly. The presentation of their dishes are executed well and everything is reasonably priced.($ 7.50 for their parfaits & $ 5-$ 6 for their waffles) I would definitely recommend this place for a nice Japanese dessert and they even have drinks/pasta if you want a meal! The restaurant itself is very quaint but extremely small. I believe there are only 5 tables indoors, which can seat around 14 – 16 people in total. Prepare to wait!
