Overpriced, small portion and bad customer service. Not busy at all but asking for a bill took us 10 minutes.

This might be the most mediocre Chinese food I have had in Vancouver so far. Food seemed overpriced for what it was(fast food quality if anything). Service wasn’t great, place was empty and we waited a while for everything. They do give good portions of meat, and my husband enjoyed the meat, which was tender. Spring rolls were also tasty and the highlight of my meal.

Prices are decent considering its one of the only places to eat at the outset mall at the moment. Food was okay. Congee was gross. Service was awful! I asked my server for things and she never brought them. Either she was. Bad waitress or didn’t speak English well. I waited too long for a take out container and even longer to get the bill to pay considering less than half the tables were filled. People who spoke the same language appeared to get better more prompt service.

The dimsum items here are standard and overpriced. The spring rolls are $ 5.95 for 3 pieces. The fishcake and fishball noodle in soup is mediocre and flavorless. The marinated chicken with tossed noodle was super salty and the chicken was undercooked. They don’t serve water or ice; you have to buy bottled water. The service is standard for a Chinese restaurant. We told the manager of the restaurant before we left about the undercooked chicken and salty noodles(which they took off our bill), and he apologized and offered a discount on our next bill. Thanks, but I don’t think we’ll be coming back.

Nice Noodle House ! Open concept with a view into the kitchen watching the cooks pull noodles and cook — very cool. The décor is ok nothing outstanding — there are about 6 booths and couple large round tables and 10 tables for 4 and a large common height top table which is great for service for 1 or 2. Lots of seating — service is fast ! Well let’s just say too quick maybe for the main items and I waited for my whole meal for more green tea and the nice lady in the table beside me got up went and got the tea and poured for her table and then asked me if I’d like more — which I said yes please and the whole table laughed and said I could leave her the tip !! Getting something simple as soya sauce or chilli sauce was really difficult. Even though those items were in jars on everyone table but mine, they brought me a tiny tiny little dish of each. Menu is a little on the small side and they have about 10 Dim Sum items, about 6 Congee dishes and Noodle Dishes and Noodle Soup. I ordered Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup and it was really good. I also had a dim sum order of salmon gyoza which were really really good !! All in all great little place and I will certainly return !!
