This food was delicious! The woman running the truck was really sweet and the sauces were spicy but not overwhelming. The seasoning on the brisket was stellar and the meat was tender. The pork was a touch salty, but still had a great slightly spicy seasoning that made my mouth tingle! The slaw was fresh and added a great crunch to complement the tender meat. All around a great experience. Check it out!

I have only snagged food from here once, but it was excellent! Great flavors, and a menu with a good amount of interesting stuff on it-not just meat in a tortilla by any means. Good house hot sauce.

This place has awesome tacos! Even if you’re not a vegetarian, the yam and bean taco is the bomb! And all their meat tacos are very good! 3 tacos for about $ 11? Pretty good! Especially for awesome tacos. The proprietors are very friendly and the Hibiscus tea is a very unique drink. If you’re eating downtown when they are near the Burrard sky train station, there’s a lunch room just inside the mall downstairs by the skytrain entrance. It’s an awesome place to eat tacos when it’s rainy.

Much like the slogan on the back of the truck, I also heart tacos(i.e. five consecutive days this week… so far). I tried this place out last year and was mildly underwhelmed and haven’t been back since. I decided to give it another go today when I saw the homemade chorizo tacos on the menu. I grabbed two chorizo tacos and one yam & black bean. Both came with salsa, an avocado sauce, onions and cilantro. As with my first experience, I found the tacos slightly on the bland side. With the chorizo especially, I hoped for a bit of a kick or some bold flavour. But alas, while the chorizo was nice, it but didn’t pack any of the punch I was hoping for. And I appreciate that they cater to the vegetarian /vegan crowd, but I thought that the yam and black bean taco could use a bit of seasoning. The habanero hot sauce does add some nice heat, but doesn’t actually add too much in the flavour department. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I was hoping for something a bit more exciting from a truck that specializes in tacos. Granted, I didn’t try the brisket, nor did I see the pineapple pico(sounds right up my alley!) referred to by previous Unilocalers.(And at the risk of sounding obnoxiously pretentious, I must admit that I was slightly put off by the butchered pronunciation of «pico de gallo» by the staff during my first visit… ok, ok, I got issues!). So, I’d give them a solid 3 stars(3.5 if I could). Would I go back? Yes. Do I expect to be wowed? Well, not really.

Off the Wagon has never failed to annihilate my appetite with their tasty tacos. How’s that for some awesome alliteration? I’ve been cruising around trying the street food around Vancouver have have hit on a winner at Off the Wagon Travelling Tacos. I was hooked by the worker inside the bus yelling at people on the street«Hey you! Come have a taco! They’re delicious…» This has become one of my favorite stops when I get downtown for lunch. Two beautiful soft tacos in a simple paper tray ready to eat as you walk. Big enough to fill your belly with delicious fresh meat or fish unlike eating a tube of mystery animal bits from some of the other carts. The only downside is that they have had to move a couple of times due to construction so you may need to check their FB page before you head out. Do it, you won’t regret it.

I love this taco wagon! They were a staple at the Lonsdale Night Market on Friday nights during the summer, and I was delighted to find them again on Dunsmuir Street at Burrard downtown. The tacos are crazy delicious — try the pineapple pico — and they’re so friendly you can’t help but smile. Move over, other taco places. I have a new favourite in Off the Wagon! PS: Try their habanero sauce, but go easy — the heat sneaks up on you!
