Food was great and the service was friendly. They were open late which was great for us visiting the city. I liked the location too, mid downtown so we can see the young kids around the city while we ate. I wish we had some of these in the US

Haven’t had Pita Pit since College St in Toronto. The food tastes fresh and unlike a lot of the shwarma pop ups you can see full tubs of veggies and lots of topping options. I had chicken and was asked if I wanted mushrooms or onions grilled with it. Fresh looking was also fresh tasting and I’ll definitely go back when I’m in the neighbourhood.

This brand new place just opened up a few months ago at the corner of Commercial and Broadway near the skytrain station. We had to check it out! The experience is similar to subway in that you choose what type of meat you want and then they ask you what you want to fill your pita with. You can choose whole grain or regular pita. They also have a nice selection of smoothies too. Price is standard $$ and the single uni-sex bathroom is clean. The staff was friendly and professional even when it got pretty busy. I would come back again if I was in the area.
