I don’t know what happened to this place. We dined here last summer and we enjoyed it and now things have gone down hill. We ordered the spaghetti and alfredo. It looked like both pastas were dipped in the sauces then taken out to let dry under a heat lamp. Seriously, no sauce! I would have been happier with a can of Chef-​boyardee.
The place is actually fairly nice inside but the service was lacking, too. Nobody came back for our re-​fills.

I was lured in by the good West 4^th Ave location and the $ 12 pizza or pasta + beer or wine sign.
I had the linguine with Italian sausage and a pint of Granville Island beer. While I was satisfied with my experience, the food was just meh. It was more franchise-​fast-​family-​food than innovative and well-​executed.
That said, the service was prompt and friendly.
Vancouver has so many awesome pizza and pasta places — there’s no excuse for just-​OK-​Italian.

Garlic chicken pizza. YES YES, the big size is cut into 18 slices. We were a family of 5 and it was pretty good. We did order another small pizza, and it was awesome. Great place, very friendly service. Highly recommend it if you are in Kits and looking for a good meal, thats light, but still delicious. Totally hits the spot. Do it :)

Great atmosphere, service, and food. Loved it. It is hard to make Italian food better than at home, but this does it. Try the pesto.

This would have been 3 stars if it wasn’t for the service.
Came here with a friend last week and expected a better showing than the West Vancouver location, but I was underwhelmed by this location and it’s staff. Although they take your order at the table unlike West Vancouver, the service was poor. Why, you ask? The server’s attention was distracted towards the chefs who were talking her up during our waiting time and dining. As well, the cutlery was sticking to our napkins and getting even simple cream and sugar for a coffee seemed like a significant challenge to our server. But the finale? The server asked if we would want to have our food wrapped up, so we obliged. However, instead of taking our plates to the back and bringing out the doggie bags, the server brought out bags and emptied the plates in front of us into the packages. Although this may fly for some people, we found it to be positively rude, as it was distracting and completely interrupted our dining experience as she was clanging cutlery and plates together clearing the plates. The last time someone did this (Lonsdale White Spot, North Vancouver), I never ate there again.
Aside from the service, the food was decent but expensive for the quality provided. There are far better places on 4^th that provide superior food for a lower cost, so there’s little reason to eat here.
If you’re looking for a place to have some quick Italian with a little bit of atmosphere and you can’t walk 5 blocks, I invite you to consider this place. Otherwise, there are better options in the immediate area.

For the friendly service and price, the price is great!

Yummy food, decent prices! Hard to go wrong :)
