I really enjoy this park. I run though here sometimes when I’m running. It’s well maintained and has nice running paths. It might be nice to come here for a picnic as well on a sunny day, or to play if you have kids and live nearby :)

Quilchena Park is certainly one of my favourite parks in Vancouver. On any given day, this spacious park has residents jogging around, kids playing at the playground and dogs playing catch. It’s not too crowded, just the way I like it. From a distance at one end of the park, you could see the silhouette of the mountains which is exceptionally beautiful on a sunset. It’s just a beautiful place to spend your day if you are around the neighbourhood.

Picture this: Your on your 30 minutes lunch break and you have GOT to get our of the workplace. Where do you go? The sunny is shining, so you decided to go to a park. Well, if you are in the Shaughnessy area, you should go to Quilchena Park park. You can relax on the benches under the tree and enjoy your lunch. Or, you can grab your skateboard /roller blades and use the skate park as a way to relieve stress. Or, you can go to the fields and watch the dogs run and the kids play baseball. Or, you can grab your Frisbee and play Disc Golf. But whatever you chose to do with your time remember this… And as always… Have Fun!!!

This beautiful park in the middle of Kerrisdale border by the Hellenic Centre slash Arbutus corridor is an off-leash dog park, as well as a park for the entire family to go to and soak up a little sun or rain, whatever you prefer. It also has a really neat skateboard park and lots of views of the Coastal Mountains. It’s 7.7 hectare(19 acres) has an entrance plazas, new walking paths, new trees and benches and other park like features.
