For a government agency, I’ve found that customs surprisingly lacks bureaucracy. I immigrated to Canada, so I had produce a list of items I would import at a later date — duty-​free as a new arrival. I forgot two items, and I thought it would be a mess. No problem. I went to this office, and the officer just added it and stamped my list.
