Ughhh why do I always have to budget 20 minutes to get a «specialty coffee». The wait is horrendous, why do they let slow customers take like 10 card swipes. Like 100 ppl could have been served if this was a McDonald’s …

Just in the sense that they close early 7:30pm most nites as we have been burned a few times. But great for the early birds, 6am. Generally fast service, used to the medical crowd here. Lots of seating, communal table on left. Nice lounge of 4 red single sofas on front right side.

This is a tiny starbucks, but it has all the usual amenities. There is actually generally enough seating, but that’s only by virtue of the fact that they are not that busy. In fact, it’s the reason I go to this one, because it’s WAY less busy than the one just down the road at Broadway and Cambie.

When we first moved to Vancouver, I had no idea the wealth of amazing cafes here, so would just frequent Starbucks. On the momentous day when I was deciding which bicycle to buy, we stopped off here for a latte, and the free wi fi so we could look at online reviews: p What can be said about Starbucks latte anymore? It’s very milky yes(which I normally love), but to the point that I can barely taste any coffee in it! Was a nice Starbucks with comfy seats by the window, spacious, clean, about as good as they get. (I bought a Norco bike in the end!).

While I don’t go to Starbucks often it does serve a purpose when I need a coffee strong enough to kick me in the ass and get me in gear for the day. I went to my local Starbucks and couldn’t help but notice how inviting this Starbucks is to others. They have about the same amount of seating as other Starbucks but it is large and open and you don’t feel like you are rubbing elbows with strangers. My intention was to walk in and walk out within minutes coffee in hand but there was so much natural lighting coming in and the tunes at the time were decent so I decided to just sit in a comfy bench, soak up some natural light and people watch for awhile. For a Starbucks I am pretty impressed by the layout of this store.

This used to be the VGH Starbucks until they opened one on campus. Nothing to complain about. Nothing to brag about. This location was renovated in 2008 after the Taco Del Mar near door exploded.

While I was waiting in line for my Starbucks tea I was admiring how well the Starbucks model works. They lay out their fat content on the food labels, which are very easy to read. I really like this. I ordered the egg white with spinach and cheese wrap. It was really healthy and tasty. I love the salty flavorful taste of spinach. When I was waiting for my order(tea and spinach wrap) they were pumping through customers fast and efficiently. The girl who took my order handed me a coffee instead of a tea which they fixed for me, but gave me the«screw you«look and didn’t even say sorry, she gave me the silent treatment. I wasn’t a bitch about it, I just can’t drink coffee my dear! Building relationships with customers and handling conflict resolution is so important in retail/food. For your first review it aint the best. I’ll be going to a different location for my Starbucks in the future.
