Terrible Customer Service!!! If you call there Visa help line your waiting over an hour with no guarantee! Im not the only one–
Hire more people !!! Probably one guy sitting in a box somewhere up North! lol

Let’s bring it down a notch, these big banks make too much profit off us.
A typical Yaletown décor, with the exposed bricks and cozy ambience, no where like a DT one with marble flooring and bright lights. bigger than it looks, with about 5 tellers. And opposite that, just as many offices.
But indeed, a 4-​star service for Tommy, who gave some advice on variable interest rates, namely open versus closed. With rates possibly going down, and if you’ve got extra cash lying around, then you can pay down more towards your principal with the open, as opposed to closed one.
Corner location, and of course, late hours on the latter part of the week.

Wow! This branch is amazing! Throughout our time up in Canada, they’ve always been great but today, when we were closing our accounts to move back to the US, they went above and beyond. They went out of their way to get us the best conversion rate (free of charge). They are very helpful and always cheerful. I HIGHLY recommend this TD branch!

Who reviews banks?
Well, I have been with TD since i was 12 years old and honestly, no matter which branch I go to, their employees are naturally friendly and just amazing.
Sometimes their is a long line if its friday after work but they will open more tellers and you won’t wait long.
I love this location because somehow this one girl remembers me! Not that i go in too often. They are always there to help and I never want to change banks.

I have avoided banking in Yaletown for the longest time. It’s silly because I thought it would be packed with impatient customers clicking their long fingernails away while waiting for their transactions to be done. Thankfully it wasn’t the case.
I allocated half an hour out of my precious lunch break to do some banking at TD. I walked in, and notice there was no lineup. I was pleasantly surprised since it was prime lunch time. The teller who serviced me was «Erik». I told him what I needed to get done. He repeated back to me, and got the transactions done. In addition to providing speedy and friendly service, he asked me how I like TD’s customer service and how they can approve. I said nah… just keep the ways things are. Don’t you change on me now! I told him I’ve had consistent quality customer service from TD employees in Vancouver, Richmond, and Burnaby. I am impressed.
I was in and out of there in 5 minutes. That left me 25 minutes to walk off my lunch and soak up some sun. Banking with TD = an excellent choice.
This TD is kept very clean and tidy. It looks new.

not very good reps as they are not informative and care too much about there customers. good luck trying to find the right person to talk to when you call the suport line.

Yaletown TD Bank has a young group of fast, efficient, friendly staff that gets me in and out quickly. Even when I’m being a dork and mistakenly insert my TD credit card (which looks nearly identical to my debit card), the staff are patient and understanding as they stare at you with a smile saying: «that’s not gonna work, but don’t worry, everyone does that».
Dual ATM machines just inside are always stocked with envelopes and seem to never have people lining up.
So glad I made the switch back to TD from Scotia 15 years ago.

I don’t have much to complain about when it comes to this TD branch. The staff are great and service is always friendly and efficient. Sometimes the lines can be long but there are usually enough people working there so the wait is never more than 10 minutes. I’ve never had a problem here and I’ve always left happy. They carry lots of foreign currencies to exchange but you have to order them in a few days in advance (as with most other banks). This branch is also open on Saturdays and Sundays — bonus!
The branch is also conveniently located on the corner of Nelson and Hamilton which is an easy walk if you live nearby. There’s also lots of parking options, it might be harder to park on evenings and weekends. There’s angled meter parking all down Hamilton (but enter from Helmcken or further, it’s a one way and you can’t enter off of Nelson), regular metered parking along Homer a block up and there’s a garage across the street next to Yaletown Park if you’ll be in the neighbourhood for a while.

My favorite TD location. The staff are soooo nice and helpful, and I love that I’ve never had to wait in line very long here. If I’m downtown, I will go out of my way to come to this location.

Extremely great staff here. Ami got us set up with our accounts the first time we came here. I went in with an idea of what I wanted from the website, but she changed my mind with the information she presented.
Our check order was messed up, so when we were in desperate need to pay rent and a few other things, they issued cashier checks and waived the normal fee.
Usually I hate dealing with banks, but these guys have won me over. Also, the girl in the front (Jenna?) is always offering cucumber water if you have to wait to see anyone. Very nice!
