I really don’t understand why this place has an average of 2 stars. Compared to other options in the food court this is more likely the healthiest thing to eat at. I love watching my food being made. I feel as though I’m watching a Food Network show. Prices for the portions are amazing. I always get greeted with a smile and a thank you after. They cook your food in water and use steam instead of fat. For someone like myself on Weight Watchers it’s very waist friendly. I feel full and sustained with the right kind of calories. If you skip the sauces and go plain this is a good gluten free lunch option.

Quite possibly the worst lunch I’ve ever had. Avoid at all costs! I got the teriyaki with rice. vegetables were soggy and the entire thing lacked any flavour whatsoever. I suspect they water down their teriyaki sauce.

When the weather is what it is… its nice to find somewhere closeby that can servce up a hot dish of something that will get you through the day. Teriyaki Experience is in the Royal Centre Food Court downstairs, where you can get noodles, rice(brown or white) or soup with veggies, chicken, beef, shrimps, or tofu. I like that they don’t charge extra if you opt for brown rice, I think its balls when sushi places charge you an extra $ 1 per roll for brown rice, its not like it costs more at the store bitches, so don’t charge me more at the restaurant. I also like that these guys don’t cook up your veggies with extra oil, they just use water, so you don’t end up with a greasy plate that wil make you feel like shit after you eat it. There is also a little station set up next to this booth, so you can add more teriyaki sauce if you want, or hot sauce or even sesame seeds, and you have the option of using a fork or chop sticks depending on your preference — and no one will judge you if you pick up the fork. The staff have always been very nice when I have stopped in for lunch and the food has always been pretty decent for food court fare.
