I went here for brunch/breakfast and split a Belgian waffle and an order of the eggs any style with toast and homefries. It was okay for a quick and inexpensive meal(like $ 12 for both of us).

This place has the chance to be something cool and unique — but chooses to be exceedingly plain on plain food. The spinach omelette was over salted. The caffe latte was flat. The potatoes were absolutely boring. And the bacon was in the awkward middle towards being just undercooked and not being awesomely café crispy. The Odwalla juice was way overpriced. Sadly, they also don’t believe in building a relationship with their customers. When my friend went to complain about the overly salted omelette they didn’t offer to exchange. So they had to buy a side order of eggs. This is really a 2.5 star place.

I had a great experience at this lovely café. Their paninis are fantastic and the service was excellent. Top notch really. I asked for help with directions and they were very happy to help(even after they learned that I was an American. haha). Friendly and wonderful! Glad to see local businesses doing it right!

Very slow but good food! Stopped in before a ride around Stanley Park! A little bit pricey but that’s expected. Do not stop in here if you are in a hurry! Also ask for a glass of water instead of spending money on a bottle.

We came upon this while strolling the streets for breakfast. I ordered the waffle with fruit topping and a side of scrambled eggs. I’d have to say my waffle was soft and fluffy which I loved. I was expecting worse like a stale waffle. The waffle and 1 egg was perfect before my bike ride around Stanley Park.

This place caught my eye and considering I have passed it a million times I decided to try it. My girlfriend ordered the Denver omelette and it made joes grill look like café medina. The«hash browns» tasted like someone soaked potato chunks in the cheapest canola oil from China and then microwaved them not long enough(they were colder than a polar bears toenails). The omelette was 100% cooked in the microwave with fake eggs and the best part was the toast(go figure). The coffee was more acidic than A science experiment and to top it off the ketchup was awful. In conclusion, overpriced and a disgraceful.

12 $ for mediterranean omelet with coffee(1 $/refill). no olives, barely any spinach, not real feta(felt like melted mozzarella), lot of milk in the omelet. Staff is very friendly. Not going back.

Okay breakfast food, but it’s overpriced with small portions. There are better options around the area.

Totally overpriced. Not sure if the eggs in the omelette were real. Also, the hostess didn’t seen to know what’s in them. I suspect the veggie and the Mediterranean omelette are the same, with the only difference being a handful of spinach and an extra dollar. The eggs and bacon are probably your best bet if you’re not a vegetarian and not concerned about your diet. Coffee was just ok.

great place for breakfast. owned by a very friendly korean family, the food is fresh and delicious, good portions. They may be a little disorganized and slow at times, but their hearts are in the right place.

This little coffee shop/café is conveniently located near the entrance to Stanley Park, making it a great place to pick up a beverage or a quick bite to eat on your way to or from the park. Breakfast and coffee here were quick, tasty, relatively inexpensive. Just what we were looking for! Oh, free wi-fi here, too. Cheers!

I used to enjoy this place until they raised the prices. They are always hiring new staff and have to train them which results in communication problems. I have gone here many times and always have to explain my order 3 for 4 times. I received deli sliced turkey in the clubhouse after years of receiving real fresh turkey. If I wanted deli meat, I would go to subway. And for that price, I want real turkey. I won’t be going back!

Staff was welcoming and efficient. Great location near Stanley Park and the waterfront with a good mixture if locals and tourists. The eggs Benedict; was one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything looks very fresh. Don’t confuse this place with White Spot. There is a nice little patio on the corner facing the street.

Not a fair player: I paid cash and noticed that she had not rang the purchase thru the cash register, I asked her why she did this, she replied, «cheaper for you, no tax».

After finding the Dutch pancake house not open yet at 7:40, I wandered into The Spot. The Denver omelette special at $ 6.25 came with potatoes and toast. It was fine, but nothing spectacular. I dropped a star from their rating because they charged me $ 1.06 for a refill coffee in a to-go cup. Pretty chintzy if you ask me.

This is a little corner café serving basic breakfast items, soup, sandwiches and wraps. It’s not wonderful and it isn’t bad. Came here for breakfast and fuel up before biking Stanley Park. The ham & cheese omelet was fine– eggs, ham and cheese. Nothing special. The belgian waffle was meh. The waffle was missing most of its grooves. Whipped cream topping came out of an aerosol can. All of their juice drinks come from Minute Maid. This was a bit disappointing because I was hoping to have some fresh squeezed OJ to go with my breakfast. Service was quick and friendly.

Here’s a place that has what you would find in your own kitchen. Pretty plane muffins and fruit plate for a simple and easy morning breakfast.

Not impressive. We only went here because it was BC day and most everything but Starbucks was closed. Unless you are in a tight spot move on.

This place has soups, sandwiches, and other small meal sort of foods from organic foods I think. The food is okay. nothing special. They have a few vegetarian choices. Their sandwiches aren’t THAT filling. It’s like your regular home made sandwich really. The service was a little slow when I went, they were training a new employee. A regular sandwich cost me over 6 dollars though, not really worth it. Didn’t have to wait too long. It’s pretty spacious in there, so no rush or worrying about seating. Nice that they have outdoor seats and window seats too. They used to have a bit of competition from Bojangles across the street, but it has been replaced by yet another Starbucks. Don’t really recommend it that much. If you want good food, just walk further down Denman, there are tons.

Good straightforward breakfast. Fantastic coffee. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Some outdoor seating. I had two eggs with potatoes an toast($ 4.95). My wife had the fried egg sandwich($ 3.25). Both of us were happy.
