Beautiful flowers but very bad customer service. The assistant rushed me to choose the flowers for my bouquet and started helping the next customer without giving me a chance to even tell her that I would pick up the bouquet at a later time. When I finally got the chance to cut in on their conversation the assistant seemed annoyed and yelled to her team, «she changed her mind» which made me really uncomfortable. It was a beautiful bouquet but for the same price I have seen way better wrapping.

I was in the shop for small bouquet, the shop assistant is not welcoming perhaps because I was not buying a lot. When she makes suggestions, it’s not very genuine. It’s a good location so I keep returning to this shop. Overall it has always been okay experience.

Flower are assorted and the bouquets are lovely, but first impressions last and the lady who helped me was not pleasant to work with at all. People can be proud of their craft, but don’t have to be rude about it.

My family visited Thomas Hobbs recently in search of some flowers for a memorial service. We were appalled by the terrible customer service. The woman who dealt with us was glib and distasteful. She bluntly asked us «who died» and «when’s the service,» trying to book us in quickly and seal the sale. She then proceeded to riffle through a binder of stock photos of terrible, tacky arrangements. When we asked if they had any photos of arrangements they had done she replied «no. But we really should as people are dying all the time!»
Needless to say, we won’t be purchasing flowers from this florist now or in future.

I wanted fresh flowers as a table centre for a dinner party we were having. I found these people on the net, there bouquet was just what I asked for, full of beautiful vibrant colour. It wasn’t cheap but it was truly worth it it added just that something to make the party spectacular. my guests even commented on how beautiful it was. I would have no hesitation recommending Thomas Hobbes or going back there again soon for another bouquet.

Truthfully I am not the type of girl whom expects her man to bring her flowers, I am not that traditional, however, walking into this store it made me want to be traditional and have a really nice classy bouquet… damn you for making me girly *raises first in the air.*
The minute you walk in you’re overwhelmed by the lovely fragrance of flowers and the layout of the store seems as though you’re walking into a story book.
The flowers are really pricey, even for singles, however, this is like the Holt Renfrew of flowers.

This place is BEAUTIFUL. Filled to the brim with lovely flower arrangements, beautiful trinkets and gifts, and it smells AMAZING in here. The staff also were super helpful and friendly. The building itself is super cute with a beautiful red front door… I love it here.

I don’t want to know what extravagant price was paid for my flowers. They came in a beautiful pot; not tacky like so many florists use. Exotic rose, lilies, orchids and others whose name I don’t know. I’ve had them for two days now and they still look freshly picked. I can’t stop looking at them.
Any long stemmed ones would already be getting old; these are huge and beautiful and if I could be in love with flowers, I would choose these. :)
I put them on my balcony at night in hopes that they will last longer.
These are nicer than any flowers I’ve ever received, nicer than wedding, graduation, you name it.
Imagine your favourite long stemmed flowers but carefully arranged in a beautiful pot so that they’d last longer.
If you want to capture anyone’s heart, go here but with a steep price I imagine. :) I will never forget them, and these weren’t even a romantic gift.

Simply put, this is the best florist I’ve ever used. I’ve used a bunch of them. I am always getting myself into trouble and having to buy flowers to get myself out of the dog house.
I do not know how many times I ordered flowers from them. Every single time, they came through with such a beautiful creation. These are large substantial arrangements. Comparing Thomas Hobbs to FTD would be like comparing the San Francisco Giants to the Bluefield Blue Jays.
In Vancouver, if you ever need a very special flower arrangement, you can’t go wrong with Thomas Hobbs. I also like their online ordering system. It is based on what types of flowers you are looking to send and how much wish to spend.
I did not know just how special they were until I moved back to San Francisco and started looking for a florist of similar quality here. For some reason, most of the nicer florist here think it is some kind of sin to allow ordering on-​line. As if there creativity is stunted by accepting orders on-​line.

A lovely floral décor shop. There is always something new and unique every time I go in. I recently purchased a dozen giant pinecones for our home and I was so pleased to receive a phone call from Maureen that she had found three extra’s. This shop definitely goes above and beyond for customers and they take great care in remembering what clients like and/​or are looking for. The yearly Christmas sale is fabulous!
