An incredible 3.5 stars, for these guys to stay in business all these years in a prime time DT. Selling just frames mostly but glad I strolled in here: now I know where to get high quality birthday, corporate thank you’s, etc, they sell Papyrus!
Also middle section has a few shelves of trinkets and gadgets, home décor ornaments, fashionable socks so almost a place to get gifts OK if you are in a jam.
Limited metered parking here.

I totally regret going to this shop. I am going there just to do a Matting for a old picture I have. I still have my own frame which is still in good condition. But as soon as the person who served me knows that. He seems impatient and unwilling to help. I will never even think of going back to get my second frame done.

At first glance you may be deceived thinking that this is just a picture frame store, however, it is so much more. Inside you get novelty gifts and cards. My best friend and I like to walk by their window display of all the kitsch items. He got my «little short» coin purse here. When I do go in to shop the staff are helpful, kind and the prices for the items are fair market value around town. Where else are you going to get an inflatable turkey for Thanksgiving?

I’ve had 3 pictures framed here and they all worked out beautifully! The staff there were very helpful making suggestions on frames and matting that would work best for my art. They have a great selection of greeting cards that you don’t see everywhere else. Two thumbs up!

I’m not sure how their work is on framing since I only bought cards and little nick knacks.
I have to say they have a lot of little gift ideas though. It’s more of a gag gift or humorous type of gifts. A lot of the items you can buy at Perpetual Kid, which is an on-​line site to «entertain your inner child» as the website states. I ended up buying a guitar spatula for a friend who loves rockin’ out on his guitar.

I took a print in to be matted and framed. It cost close to $ 500.00. The frame had a gouge in it and the matting was uneven. Took five trips to the shop before they fixed it. It wasn’t ready the second trip but no one bothered to phone me to tell me of the delay. Next trip, the frame was flawed. Then when I finally got to pick it up the clerk had an attitude… no «sorry to inconvenience you» no apology for the flawed frame, just a nasty attitude, wouldn’t even speak a word to me, just went to the back to get the picture, put it on the counter and that was that. Not a single word, just a nasty glare… How dare I want an unflawed $ 500.00 frame. I went to a different store to have the matting fixed.

I got a poster framed here– they were quick and did an excellent job, albeit a little spendy. If you’re looking for a panoramic pic of Vancouver or the surrounding locales, this is the place to come– they have some beautiful things. Excellent supply of gift cards, too.
