If you are a watch enthusiasts or have vintage watches that need repairs and cleaning, this is the place to take it. They are licensed to fix just about all the fancy watches out there. The price is not cheap but you will be sure that your timepiece is taken care of by a professional.

Still on the hunt and haven’t bought a watch yet, but I’ve gotta hand it to Time & Gold for impeccable customer service, great selection, and product knowledge/passion. Came in the first time with only a vague an idea of what I was looking for, and Brad has been extremely helpful in sharing his passion for watches, he stories and specs behind brands, and showing different styles. This has helped me narrow down to a few top options(of brands and features based on my intended use and preferences) which I can take away for further review. Throughout the process(3 or 4 visits), I didn’t feel the pressure to make a purchase then and there. I’m left with a very positive impression and desire to bring my future business to Time & Gold. I’ve got no hesitations to recommend a visit to any who are on the market for a watch.

I just purchased a preowned Rolex. I took it in for them to evaluate the authenticity of the watch and for polishing and sizing. Was extremely pleased with the service and professionalism of the staff. Above all, they did a great job on my watch. It looks brand new. I’ll gladly take my other watches to T&G for servicing.

Went it the other day to get my watch repaired. Kind of intimidating walking in at first because its a very high end looking watch shop also I’m was only going in there to fix a watch that costs me no more than $ 90. But the employees there were very friendly and welcoming. The took a look at my watch. Double checked if the have the missing piece laying around and wham NY watch was fixed in less than 10 mins for a very decent price. Thanks guys. I love watches and I might even come back to purchase something there. Until next time!

WOW! Fantastic service! I had just received a new watch from a different shop and it had some minor surface wear signs on the brushed surface. Not only did Time and Gold do a FANTASTIC job on re-brushing the surface THEYDIDITFORFREE! For a watch that they didn’t even sell! I thought that level of service was long gone in this day and age. When I am next in the market for a good watch I will definitely buy it from Time and Gold!

I indulged myself with a Tag back in 2009 after doing a lot of research, the staff was helpful and enthusiastic about watches and, when it turned out the model I had wanted was a limited edition, and not available anymore — helped me find another model I really liked. But the best part is the follow up service. Time & Gold has buffed up my watch, replaced the battery(as part of the sales agreement) and taken care of me ever since, even though I don’t live in Vancouver, and only walk in on rare occasions. I’d shop here again.

While I do love my luxury watches, I’ve been working out with Polar heart rate monitors for the better part of a decade. I’m a shell of myself when I go for a run or hit the gym without it, I’d rather go without an ipod than my FT4. Anyway, Time & Gold is the«authorized service center» for Polar watches in Vancouver. According to their website, they handle«more demanding non-warranty service». Each time I came to visit, staff was friendly and quick to compliment me on what was on my wrist, definitely demonstrating some real knowledge about watches, seeing as though they were brands that store itself did not carry. However, when it came to my cheap Polar, they failed miserably. The middle button of my watch stopped working(it was stuck and wasn’t reacting to my presses) and I was assured it would be no problem to fix. I heard nothing for more than two weeks before I called in to find out, rather curtly, that they couldn’t fix it. When I came in to pick it up I was told that they could not fix the watch because it was all«one enclosed case» that they couldn’t open and it would have to go back to Polar headquarters. But if that is true, then really the only thing these service centers can do is replace batteries on these things(which ANY watch repair shop can do). So what good is an authorized service center then? Colour me confused. Anyway, I took the watch then to Norbert at the German Watchmaker who I’ve raved about in the past( ). While he did confirm that the watch was all one case which would pose a challenge, he did suggest just inserting some oil in an around the buttons and the casing. Once he did it, BOOM, my button was working again consistently. That was easy, so easy that Norbert took no money for it. Anyway, he really did make Time & Gold and their repair people look foolish on this one.

Got my Tutima Flieger Chronograph FX cleaned here. My fourth time getting it cleaned but my first time getting it cleaned here. It took them about six weeks, which WAS a long time, but I couldn’t have been happier with the service. It came back to me in better condition than when I bought it. Everything just seemed really… tight…and it kept time better than ever before; it gains just a little less than a minute per month. I didn’t even know automatics COULD be this accurate. HIGHLY recommend these guys. Magnificent!

This is a good place to have a luxury watch serviced. The timing is a little slow though and communication can be sluggish in terms of finding out when the repairs will be completed, but they can fix most things from replacing a sapphire crystal to repairing a locking piece that falls off a deployment clasp. Mark is a good and honest operator and you can get a very fair deal on any of the watches he has in stock on display in his showroom.

A link cap from my husband’s Ebel watch band fell off somewhere to be never found again. Time & Gold is an authorized repair centre for many quality watch brands so I headed downtown to get the watch fixed. I was buzzed in, greeted immediately by a friendly, helpful young gentleman, explained to him the repair required and was told to leave the watch and come back in a half hour. A half hour later I returned and only had to wait long enough to have the fellow walk to the workshop in the back to grab the watch off of the bench. Fixed watch, $ 25 and a half an hour — I am a fan!

I went to Time and Gold once and was treated like dirt for asking questions and wanting to know more about watches while considering buying. Hey, guess what? You lost me forever. I’ll never go back. Passion is so incredibly sexy and there was only pressure to buy and buy quickly, rather than talk watches and get me all worked up into a froth so that I would be lusty with devotion as I reached for my credit card. Thanks for nothing, Time and Gold. I can buy anythig you sell for less than half on E bay. Ptth!

I had a Victorinox Swiss Army watch which broke down less than a year of use. The watch was purchased at another store and it just happened that Time & Gold is the authorized dealer to fix Victorinox Swiss Army watches. The watch lost its water resistance and I brought it in to have it fixed. It took about 2 weeks for the repair, and I had a call to have it picked up. I picked it up and I realized a big scratch on the bezel of the watch. It wasn’t an expensive watch, only 200 dollars so I just accepted it. I think if my watch was an expensive Rolex or Breitling, the scratch would have never happened.

I have several watches from their shop, the oldest a good quality Seiko dive watch with a battery, it came with a life time battery exchange which I forget about when I go in as I only change the battery every 2 – 3 years. They always hand back my 25+ year old watch and smile, no charge, as the batteries are free for life and a sticker inside the watch says so. I don’t think free batteries for life are offered any more but their also service my Omega and Rolex chronos I bought there for free when needed. I go back when I need a new watch but since they last for a long time and I haven’t bought anything for years I appreciate the customer service.
