It’s easy to see how people could easily get addicted to getting lash extensions, as they really give the whole «I woke up like this» movement some legs to stand on! You’ll find that just having then on, you need less makeup if any!
They are not something I get all the time, but I like to get them pre-​travel plans as once they are done your morning routine is quite «low maintenance»
The owner of WLash, Vivian, has been on the forefront of this trend since it started about ten years ago and I have followed her business and all three of its locations whenever I need my «lash fix». She really knows what she is doing and I have never noticed any breakage after having my lashes seamlessly and individually applied by her.
The whole process takes about 1.5 hours and the results last about three weeks. After your service, You are sent away with a little care package of lash wash and lash brushes to maintain their grooming and results.
One thing to beware of though… you will receive ALOT of compliments *wink*

They had a promotion so I booked an appointment, I had gone to Wink when they were in Gastown and loved it. This time was not as good an experience. It’s at the back of a nail salon and the chair is in a tiny closet area. The woman doing my lashes was in a bad mood from the start, I was trying to be nice and cheerful but she was just grumpy. She couldn’t get her phone to play music, so I sat there while she was pissed off about not having music playing and touched her phone for a while, then not washing her hands (phones are cesspools of bacteria, FYI). So it was off to a bad start. I gave her a 20 $ tip as it was on sale and she did a pretty good job (seemed to cheer up near the end) but I’m not going back just because for 140 $+ I don’t want to feel edgy the whole time, it’s supposed to be somewhat relaxing.
