We recently held a corporate event here and Matti, the owner, couldn’t have been more helpful — even with everything be planned by email. He was very accommodating, especially with our tight budget and constantly changing number of attendees. We had drinks and appetizers on the patio and the food disappeared incredibly fast. I heard nothing but positive things about the food that was served. The few bites I managed to get were incredible, especially the bruschettas(of which the staff brought us a little taste before our guests arrived). The food was so good that our team(six of us) decided to stay for dinner after the event was over(as we hadn’t had much chance to eat during the evening). We all tried different pastas and they were incredible! One of my colleagues and I decided to split both the rigatoni ai funghi porcini and the gorgonzola risotto(since both sounded so good that we couldn’t decide between them). Again, we weren’t disappointed. I especially liked the woody flavours in the rigatoni. The staff here were especially helpful throughout the entire evening. I’d especially like to thank Amor, Jay, Gabriel and Ricardo(from Roma!). Everything was wonderful and I wouldn’t hesitate to hold a corporate event here again or to just stop by for lunch or dinner.

Located in the middle of what used to be old warehouses, this place is packed with flavors. We ordered Brushetta al pomodoro, Spaghetti allo Scoglio, Carbonara Boscaiola, and tagliatelle alla bolognese. All delicious and authentic but nothing to go out of your way for. Service was attentive and unpretentious. It’s a great place for a hot date but I wouldn’t bring the whole family here. It’s surrounded by night clubs and lounges and if you don’t mind the smoke from loungers smoking outside, infusing into your dinner because most dining tables are outside. If you check in via Unilocal, you get a free dessert. We ordered the lemon Panna cotta caffe and Tiramisu.

I am here on vacation and by far this was the best Italian I have ever had. We shared a bottle of merlot which was delicious! Our salads that we ordered were big enough to share and their goat cheese was so good. Everything is fresh and sweet. I ordered the crab and lobster ravioli which was a little spicy but still very good. I wish I lived here so I can come back! Our waitress was from Russia and she was very sweet and nice.

I had the mushroom pasta. It was very fresh. The noodles are great. But next time I want to try the seafood pasta. The dessert was delicious. Had the chocolate mousse.

They did a fantastic job with the fresh spaghetti being cooked al dente. The spicy seafood spaghetti in particular was so delicious. All the seafood was still tender and not overcooked. Try the burrata and prosciutto appy– it’s a common dish, but such high quality here!

Went here on a Friday night for my girlfriend’s birthday. We were initially bummed that we weren’t able to get a table outside, but we ended up loving sitting inside and being able to observe the open kitchen. We had the Gnocchi Quattro Formaggi and the Spaghetti alla Carbonara. Gnocchi were slightly undercooked, but the sauce was tasty, and the Spaghetti were great. We also had a Bellini, made the way they make them in Italy, with a freshly pureed Peach and prosecco. The Tiramisu was out of this world, highly highly recommended. The staff were incredibly friendly, as was the chef, Filly. As an Italian who is normally very skeptical of «Italian» restaurants, I can assure you that this is authentic(and delicious) Italian food. We highly recommend and we look forward to coming back!

We stumbled upon this Italian restaurant when looking for dinner suggestions in Yaletown and decided to give it a try. I’m so glad we did because the food, service and ambience were all incredible. This was probably the best meal of our Vancouver trip. Authentic Italian pasta(plenty of choices to choose from), reasonable prices and great service. To top it off, if you check in on Unilocal, you get a complimentary free dessert! For our mains, we decided to go with the seafood spaghetti($ 25), and pappardelle with braised pork($ 26). The spaghetti was amazing, cooked to perfect al-dente, drenched with a delicious chilli sauce and topped with plenty of fresh seafood. The pappardelle was also extremely delicious. For our dessert, we decided to go with the special of the day, which was a chocolate almond mousse cake. ugh, my mouth is watering just from thinking about it. I would definitely recommend this place for any intimidate date night or family affairs.

Amazing place for genuine Italian food. They have a small place but the food makes up for the close quarters. I would definitely make a reservation if you want to come in on a Friday or Saturday night. This place fills up quickly and there aren’t many spaces for groups more than 2. They start off with some olives for the table which is a nice alternative to gorging yourself on bread and butter. I had the Lobster and Shrimp Ravioli which was very flavorful with a kick of spice. The plating was really nice with the arugula on top of the fresh tomatoes sauce. My only regret is that I didn’t have an appetizer to start because the pasta by itself was not enough to make me full, but I can imagine it being the perfect portion if you started your night with one of their appetizer and you were sharing a bottle of wine. I finished the meal off with their delicious Vanilla Panna Cotta with a mixed fruit compote on top(Check in on Unilocal for free desert!) This seems like the perfect spot for a date night, they even have a date night special for $ 99! I’m definitely coming back to try more of their pastas!

Nice place, tiny restaurant. The service was absolutely great and fun, the wine was excellent and nicely recommended. Food was really good, nothing to say about it. 5⁄5 for food and service. We triee Bruschetta, for me Spaghetti al Carbonara, and tiramisu. Pricing is ok, 19 to 26 $ for maincourse. 4 stars and not 5 for the menu: Not enough choices or at least various enough.

I remember the first time I was here was at least 3 years ago and I got a Social Shopper or was it Groupon deal. I have to say i thought this place was terrible. I saw them soak the pasta in the sauce and cook it all together making the food very very salty. Went there recently and everything changed. I am guessing management must have changed or they got a new chef. The food is not bad. They no longer cook it the way they used to. Its good that they are generous on cheese. Good selection. Only issue is that the place is super small. So you have to make a reservation or else… you will be waiting forever. Definitely will comeback

***If you check in on Unilocal, you get free dessert! This applies to all individuals at the table who checks in on Unilocal,so if everyone uses Unilocal, potentially the whole table can get free dessert*** This place is petite, has a homie and intimate atmosphere(possibly because of the dim lighting). We made a reso on Open Table for NYE, and we got seated in the outdoor patio(a little cold, but they have red blankets and several patio heaters). FOOD — Beef carpaccio: DON’T ORDERIT; we were both severely disappointed; yes, the beef should be thin, but it shouldn’t fall apart like pulled pork when I tried to get it off the plate. Also, it was served with no sauce or seasoning whatsoever, so it was very very bland — Risotto al radicchio con salsiccia e gorgonzola: it looked like Campbell cream of mushroom + rice; the photo is definitely not selling it; I did not like it, but my partner thought it tasted great; they use an interesting type of cheese which was the only unique quality about the dish — Lobster & crab ravioli alla Filly: DELICIOUS! My partner thought it was too tomato-y, but the filling and seasoning was spot on. Fresh seafood taste, and the pasta was al dente and tasted like it was freshly made; it is because of this dish that I would come back to try other pastas DESSERT — Crème Brule: one word = AMAZING — Tiramisu: delicious, but the espresso flavor is quite strong(which I love), but my partner didn’t enjoy it as much The service was great. When we told them we were cold, they jacked up the heaters. My only small complaint was that my table was uneven, so my water kept spilling.

Hot damn this place was good. Seriously. We opted for the date night special on the menu which was a super good deal: 1 bottle of red or white(we went with the pinot grigio, 2 appetizers, 2 pasta entrees, and a dessert all for $ 99. Already a great deal, but given our exchange rate, this was an even better one. We got the tuna carpaccio and the burrata appetizers to start. Super fresh ingredients all around. Then we followed up with the seafood pasta which was full of mussels, clams, scallops, calamari and shrimp in a nice lightly spicy red sauce and then my boyfriend got the mushroom pappardelle which was a large variety of mushrooms and a red sauce. All the pastas are homemade… you could how great quality they were. Our lavender panna cotta was a nice way to end the meal. Our server was from Italy and said she really loves the food here too, so you know it’s coming highly recommended from the homeland. I would seriously be back here all the time if I lived here. Deal Seeking Diva tip: Take advantage of the date night deal. You can’t go wrong with this $ 99 price point.

Came here last week for lunch. Reservations are definitely recommended cause it looks bigger than it really is. There is probably for seating on the patio than inside. That’s because the kitchen is literally right there when you walk in. I had the lobster and crab ravioli. I felt it was no brainer since it had both lobster and crab. When I arrived I thought I got the wrong meal because there was prawns on it! Can’t go wrong with more seafood. However, I personally didn’t like the meal too much. I felt it was a bit liquidy which might have been from the tomatoes. The ravioli I could barely taste the lobster and crab, although the texture was definitely there. I probably should have ordered something else. Then I decided to get the tiramisu. Omg. Probably one of the best desserts I have had and I don’t usually eat desserts or sweets. It’s a bit liquidier than most tiramisus and you can’t really see all the layers, but it doesn’t matter. It is truly delicious. Also had a bite of the lavender crème brule. The lavender was too overpowering. It felt like I was eating at a fragrance store or walking into a washroom after someone masking the fact they did a number 2. It did not sit well in my stomach. The service is very nice and personable. You can tell they are truly passionate about the food and their patrons. I might give the place another try in the future, but I’ll definitely know what I will and will not be ordering.

Went here for«Taste of Yaletown» and loved it. At $ 35 per person, it was a bargain. Servers were super nice and very helpful with the menu. Wine prices were very fair. We got a nice red for about 40 bucks. Food: — Ahi Tuna Carpaccio(8⁄10) — really flavorful. came with thin slices of tuna and topped with all kinds of goodness(onions, oil, etc) — Insalata Celeste(9⁄10) — delightfully surprised at how much i enjoyed this(bc i dont really eat salads). generous portions too. — Risotto(10⁄10) — perfect portion, creamy. italian sausage gave it a great burst of flavor. — Loster Crab Raviolli(7⁄10) — this was good. came with about 7 pieces of raviolli, topped with shrimp. I definitely enjoyed the risotto more. — Tiramisu(10⁄10) — probably the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. I can’t explain it. There’s this excellent taste that hits your senses on your first bite. A+ — Vanilla Panna Cotta(7⁄10) — this was aiite. it reminded me of a solidified pudding, but that’s only cuz i don’t know anything about panna cotta. still delicious nonetheless.

Yes I’m a fan:) I was there tonight with people from out of town. I was very impressed by how cozy and cute this place is. The menu is quite simple, just appies and pasta, but that’s how you know they are doing it right. Each dish tasted really amazing! I had the tomato basil sauce thing(la parimevara I think. Forgive me I’m very bad with names). It was really light yet flavorful! I am very impressed and definitely will go back again!

That is so, so good. I lost count of how many times we said that tonight. Where to start? Service was excellent, so helpful with my daughter’s egg allergy at a fresh pasta restaurant. My daughter started with the burrata caprese, one of her favourite dishes. You could tell it was the Italian burrata. I was allowed to nibble on the arugula part of this salad. We then both had gnocchi, hers cheese and mine tomato. Both winners and nicely proportioned. I like it when the pasta is not obscenely portioned to stuff you. The sauces were wonderful. For dessert I had a free tiramisu for checking in on Unilocal.Again, perfectly proportioned. Ended with the cheque(so reasonable!!!) and a dark chocolate each. Thanks for an amazing meal.

My friend and I came to Yaletown L’Antipasto for dinner on a Thursday around 6pm. We chose to sit outside as there was no A/C inside the restaurant(it was a little stuffy). We shared the Proscuitto & Melone and the Risotto antica Modena. The Proscuitto and Melone was the perfect combination of sweet and savoury. It came with a side of arugula salad, which added a nice touch of bitterness to the plate. The Risotto antica Modena was so delicious! It was super creamy with a hint of tang from the balsamic. I was expecting a larger portion(based on the pictures I saw on Unilocal), but it is a decent portion for 1 person as an entrée. Yaletown L’Antipasto is very affordable for Yaletown standards. I will definitely return! PS. You get a free dessert of your choice if you check in on Unilocal! We got the tiramisu– very tasty.

Just an update about l’antipasto. From the first review 10 months ago until now I still like a lot the food, the staff and the great lovely patio they have. I go to L’antipasto very often and my favorite dish keeps being risotto antica modena. Today a tried a delicious courtesy dessert from one of their lovely owners: panacotta. It doesn’t disappoint. I also love that they use opentable to make reservation so i can do it using my Unilocal account and i think all the restaurants in Vancouver should do that too.
