When everything else in Yaletown is closed on a weekday at lunch, this place will do. The beer was okay. My husband drank their Raspberry Tart Beer, which they brew themselves, and it was decent but not something we would order again. The appetizers were typical bar food. I ordered the beer pretzels which came with a grainy mustard and cheddar to dip it in. I love carbs, and this did not disappoint(though I wouldn’t say it impressed either). The bar was playing the UEFA Euro, in Memphis this is hard to find so we were really happy about that! They have a pool table which takes coins. We were pleased to have somewhere to sit down and drink a cold one, but of all the options in Vancouver this wasn’t our favorite spot. The redeeming quality of this joint is the house brewed beer.

I went there for the NBA game. The beer was moderate. Nothing too special but is a good place to spend by yourself.

Just updating this review. The manager responded to my previous review VIA email and invited me back.(thank you) I’ve never been in this situation before, but it came across as though he genuinely cared about the concerns of the visit I had. I went back with my husband for an early dinner. It really was a 180. The server was upbeat and exceptionally friendly. He was quite funny as well. The patio really is a great space and I enjoy a hint of people watching as you eat your meal. As I had mentioned in my previous review the beer is delicious. Our food was quite good. Overall it was a good experience. We really enjoy unique beers and a patio so I can imagine some summer days leading us to a return visit.

Decent place to grab a drink and some food in Yaletown. Went in during a long weekend and the restaurant wasn’t packed. Hostess and server was very friendly and attentive! We both ordered the featured wheat ale which had notes of honey and orange, nice and refreshing for a warm day! Food wise, we ordered Mumbai wings, salmon Niçoise salad, and prawn pizza. The wings were really really good. Nice and crispy and well seasoned, I would definitely order them again! The salmon salad surprised me. The sockeye salmon was well cooked and was generous portion! The remainder of the salad was just okay, it had the elements of a Niçoise but it wasn’t quite there. Lastly, the pizza was alright. Parlour down the street has a better pizza but the one here will do the job.

We came here for an after work event/going away party and we had a reso for a large group. Our reso was for 5:30, after we were seated we were told that there was another reso at 8 so «they would bring us some free shots». The service was incredibly slow and inefficient(problematic when you need to get in and out with such a big group in a short time period). And they basically didn’t bother clearing the table while we were there. I gave them 2 stars because after they kicked us out we moved to the patio and the service out there was WAY better. Also their house magician was pretty sweet.

Food was OK beer was average at best. I PA was decent but the pale ale had a bit of a Metalic taste. Would go back but not In any rush to.

Spin off of the 20 year old Yaletown Brewing Company, this new artesian spirit distillery offers tasting and tours. The malted barley is milled, washed, fermented and distilled here in Yaletown. The operations manager was very informative about the history of this company, distilling process, botanicals used, and how their spirits rate in the market place. Tasting menu offered vodka and gin $ 2 each. Traditional Eastern European style twice distilled vodka and traditional London dry gin with 8 botanicals. Their vodka is made from 2ROW malted barley from the Peace River Valley and Vanderhoof British Columbia. This grain gives its distinct fruity nose and smoothness. Without much experience in discerning the tasting notes, I’d say though I enjoyed the clean and buttery taste. The gin had a slightly bitter taste which I’d enjoy better in a mixed cocktail. Great craft spirits for the discerning palette. Worth a visit!

A nice spot to meet up with friends or catching a drink while passing through Yaletown. I chose the latter as I wanted a sports bar to catch the game while munching on snacks and having a drink or two. The happy hour menu is fine, in line with the other restaurants in the area. Lots of seating and TVs, comfortable and clean upkeep. Servers are all fine. I recommend this place during summers especially since its patio season.

As a tourist to Vancouver, it was great to find this little Yaletown neighborhood after walking around the city. It was like a little oasis in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Once we arrived in Yaletown, we had to pick which restaurant to stop in, and I think we made a great choice. Great beer selection, lots of great beers on tap, good food and nice outdoor seating. Prices and service was as to be expected.

I love the funky deco of Yaletown Brewing Company and their beers that they brewed were quite decent. On a Sunday afternoon, the restaurant/bar was empty. We ended up doing beer flights in sampling glass at the bar area. The bartender is really friendly and nice. We had a great time as we did some beer talks and just chill. Great place in Yaletown to have a drink especially if you like beers!

Great Place to go in Yaletown. The house beers are great. We had some beers in the bar while waiting for a table. It was quite full so we had a long wait. We should have made reservation. Afterwards we had dinner. The Mac and Cheese was delicious! In the end you also get a complimentary cotton candy!

Expensive for what it is, the food quality isn’t reflective of the price, their beer is pretty average in terms of local brews. I think it’s targeted more towards a 40s crowd here.

I always enjoy taking friends that are in town for a visit to the Yaletown Brewery. Although it has the feel of a chain-y type restaurant, it does have a great selection of food. I had the St. Petersburg which is basically fettuccini and beef stroganoff which was excellent. Along with the food itself we enjoyed a couple of their lagers on special. Great place to catch up with friends.

I’m surprised to see the negative reviews about this place — to be honest though, I’ve never come here because I just figured it’d be an uppity kind of bar due to it’s location. However I was pleasantly surprised as I was greeted at the door by some friendly staff and we chose to sit in the bar so we could catch the hockey game. Our server was with us soon after and she was super friendly and attentive — not overly where she was hovering and we didn’t feel like we had to search near and far just to grab another pint. The food was delicious. We ordered deep fried pickles(which were top notch, btw), a shortrib burger and a rice dish called Valencia(my favourite filter, what what?). I’m sure we’ll be back!

We did a big group here(over 40), and they handled us well. Service was attentive. The beer was mediocre. Not terrible, but maybe a 6 out of 10. Food was good. 7.5÷10. Very nice plating. I recommend the wings(appetizer). It was a bit corporate. Kind of shiny and not much culture. But in a cool part of town.

Was bar hopping last night, so ended up here. Aside from its location and size I usually don’t like coming here due to previous sub par experiences. It was a pretty busy night, walked in, there must have been 3 to 4 hostesses and there were just standing around chatting with each other. It was a good awkward minute before one even acknowledged me. Anyway got a table and a big surprise, our server had excellent service. Nice, prompt, and attentive. I had the ginger beer and had the Hawaiian pizza and beer pretzels to munch on. The ginger beer was amazeballs. I don’t like ginger, but I’m really starting to like ginger beer. The pretzels were delicious on its own. It also comes with a cheddar dip and a mustard dip. The cheddar dip was pretty darn good too. However, I was disappointed by the Hawaiian pizza. For what you pay for, I would have expected more toppings and more pineapples for sure. I felt the pineapples were diced extra small, and the whole sheet of toppings easily slid off. The pizza was mediocre at best. TL;DR Decent upbeat crowd and atmosphere, can accommodate larger groups. Beers and pretzels were delicious, but pizza was not. Server was great, hostesses not so much. Have to go smack in the middle for the rating then. 3 stars. Would be back if I’m in the area and don’t feel like going anywhere else in Yaletown, but wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.

Great spirits! Love the fact you can go in and have a taster of their vodka or gin for $ 2.00 a tasting. Their vodka is my favourite. Great place to stop in for a drink before or after your dinner.
