This place is absolutely delicious! If you are driving to Toronto(or out of Quebec) from Montréal ~ it’s a great place to stop. We picked up some strawberry profiteroles(which were absolutely delicious), and 2 small pieces of ganache/mousse cake, one in milk chocolate, and the other in dark chocolate(my mom was just about the happiest person in the whole world when I presented the cake to her today). We also ordered a rustic tart(choco-bananes) which was also delicious. They were sold out of chocolate eclairs, but those are the breaks. Stop in, it’s yummy!

Version Française plus bas This is the first one! It’s the really first Première Moisson and it does have a little bit more products. It’s quite small but has a little charm. The only thing that annoy me is the amount of holes in Baguette. It kind of makes me angry to pay for a good looking baguette with holes that are sometime a little too big no to get at least a little pissed at this.

Oh their sandwiches. This is a mandatory stop on the drive home once we survive the gridlock and navigation through Montréal traffic. It doesn’t matter if it is breakfast, lunch or dinner, we’ll make it a point to pick up two or three different sandwiches to share. This year we had the ham and swiss(heated and with their special creamy-mustardy house sauce), a brie and pear and walnut(also heated, on a perfect crusty baguette), and a tuna salad on a olive focaccia. Mmmmm… Each sandwich runs about $ 7. There are also lovely pastries and cakes. And gift-giving ready jams and confections. I didn’t realize until this year that this is a chain, and there are several other locations in the greater Montréal area. The little handwritten labels for the sandwiches are in french(time to whip out yourt dormant high-school level french!) but there is usually at least one person working there who understands english. Bön apetit!
