Really good ice cream, plenty of extras to mix into it… but the price? A little expensive. I took away one star because of it. 4 ice cream cones…$ 30. That seems a little out there but if you are willing to spend that kind of money I think you would be hard pressed to find better ice cream downtown.

The service was good and the ice cream was better, they were patent with our indecisiveness, they were also quick to help us choose flavours.

The ice cream is good, but the service is TERRIBLE! The person who took my order was mumbling so much that I had to ask him to repeat himself about 4 times because I couldn’t understand his answers to my question. He also kept making remarks to his co-worker about her break, but he was rude and extremely unprofessional towards her. When it was time for me to pay, he pulled out his cell phone and was checking it. I sat around in the store to eat the ice cream and he did it each time another customer went to pay. If I was the owner of that store I’d fire everyone and start from scratch. Customer service is important no matter what you’re selling. If you can’t handle the public, than don’t work with them.

This is basically, I assume, the Canadian equivalent of Cold Stone Creamery in the States. We stumbled upon this place because we were wandering around looking for a pub that wasn’t super crowded(apparently that’s hard to find), saw the sign, and decided ice cream was a great idea. Although they advertise frozen yogurt, they actually didn’t have any. Not a huge deal, but why claim to have it? I ordered chocolate ice cream(it’s my favorite, I can’t stray too far from it!) and was really pleased to see they had a cookie dough mixin. The small was just enough & it was delicious. My fiancé ordered a medium, which he couldn’t finish. They have a pretty good mix of stuff to mix into your ice cream, ranging from the chocolate(chocolate chips, cookie dough) to candy(gummy bears) to fruit(I noticed pineapple and raspberries). Service was a little slow as the place was overrun by teenagers who were taking their sweet time making a decision, but I guess that’s sort of expected with places like this!

DELICIOUS!!! I am glad that they are at least a border crossing away from where I live or I would eat their ice cream every day and grow fat! I would have posted a picture of my ice cream except that I couldn’t stop eating it until it was gone.

I had cotton candy/sweet cream with marshmallow & sprinkles and my 6-year old had the more distinguished peanut butter with marshmallow & Oreo cookie crumbles! So delish!!!

I love this place. My favorite is the birthday cake flavor with sprinkles mixed into it. Yumm! They are open late, so if you have a sugar craving after shopping and the malls close, go here! Way better with the new management. Before you weren’t given punch cards for ice creams you buy. But now you are. Good for me since I go there so often. Way better than cold stone cake batter.

I feel like a tool reviewing chain establishments, but I spent a lot of time in university concocting hellacious«ice cream» blends that usually involved more Skor bits and M&Ms than actual ice cream, and decided it’d be worth a somewhat nostalgic visit during our trip to Victoria. Gone are the days of ordering really complex items, I suppose; we were explained the process as combining«either one or two ice creams together with a mix-in.» They didn’t have my perennial favourite sweet cream flavour, and cookie dough was not among the mixers. But I got a white chocolate with toffee bits ice cream that was pretty nice, and my partner’s order of «birthday cake and vanilla bean ice cream together with Oreo bits,» while it seemed to really confuse the girl who made it, was nonetheless a fantastic combination. All in all, a good re-visit, and it was especially nice that they were open til 11 p.m. so that we could grab a bite late night.
