There is just something about this place that I love. Maybe it reminds me of when I was a kid and my mom worked in bars in St. John’s, NL… not sure. Anyway, this place is eclectic — lots of old vinyl on the walls, lots of pictures of local dogs on the back wall… plenty to look at.
They don’t do cooked food, but they do have great sandwiches — old school with a pickle and potato chips on the side.
Go, chill out, chat with the bartender and enjoy!

This place is the best. Period.
Good food (from steaks and stews to quinoa salads with feta and almonds), better service, and live music. And you wonder why it’s packed when you drive by after work…

Get your pants on and go where everybody knows each other’s name, but not yours. Stand in the corner and pretend to check sports scores cause you can to the bad for social time but no body will talk to you. Does everybody here work together? no, they look like their meeting after work. What happened to you? you used to have so many friends. Some moved away sure, but not all of them. What was that guy you hung out with a few times? Tom? We were friends right? Maybe I should facebook chat him.
Now you’re wasted. How many of these things have you had? Don’t ask the bartender, try to act sober. Common man you gotta drive. You’re too old for this kind of college shit. You need to get your act together and grow up. Tomorrow, you’re gonna call that Tom guy and start working out.
