Terrasse Radisson

Fantastic new restaurant in Wakefield. We were hesitant at first because it looked like more of a deli on first glance but were very glad we sat down and gave it a chance. The décor is refined rustic and they have a big deli case in the front with their locally sourced meats & cheeses.
The sandwiches are spectacular. Great cuts of meat and cheese on a perfect baguette. Good balance of flavours with no greasiness and the portions were just right. You get a choice of a small side and a choice of several house-​made mustards (we had the beer and maple mustards and both were fantastic).
I love sandwiches but don’t eat them often because most of the time it’s a let down however, this place won’t disappoint. The service was friendly and capable. Definitely worth the trip from downtown Ottawa. I’d eat here all the time if I lived closer.
