The Great Canadian Bungee

This is awesome! I think it’s a must do adventure for anyone. You’re guided to the jump location, provided with lots of prep, climb up a really tall set of «stairs», secured by staff, walk to the edge, then just dive and scream from the top of your lungs! Exhilarating! Must try it!
Zipline:

Vous avez toujours rêvé de faire un saut en «bungee»? Pas moi. Mais un «ami» a eu la délicate attention de me donner un certificat-​cadeau pour un saut en bungee et un décente en «tyrolienne» (une descente haute vitesse le long d’un cable). D’ailleurs, tout les autre participant qui y étais en même temps que moi s’étais fait offrir le plaisir par d’autre. «Tiens, TU devrais aller sauter en bas d’une tour, accrocher par un élastique autour des chevilles et faire un lac artificiel créer dans une carrière désaffectés!».
Un saut d’une centaine de mètre. Je né sais pas trop comment comparer cet endroits à d’autres puisque c’étais mon premier saut mais le personnel est très professionnel et vérifie et contre-​vérifie les équipement avant votre saut. Peu d’explications sont données, on sauté et voilà!
Es-​ce que j’ai aimer? Disons que c’est une expérience. Es-​ce que je le referais? Peut-​être. Si c’étais un événement avec des amis. Mais VOUS devriez le faire! ;-)

Great staff and great location. The entire process was very efficient and straight forward. The view from above is absolutely stunning and terrifying. All worth it for only $ 160 or so all taxes in.

The Great Canadian Bungee is a hot spot for adrenaline junkies! It’s the largest bungee jump in the US and Canada. They have both a 200 ft. bungee jump over a beautiful man-​made lake and a Rip Ride, the rip ride is an 1015 ft. cable slide over the lake. During the hot summer months you can bungee with a head or body dunk — it was October when we went so it was too cold to do the dunk. Great Canadian Bungee offers good package deals where people can do both the bungee and ripride + get video footage and tshirts. There isn’t much in the way of food/​bathroom facilities (beside porta potties) so make sure you eat/​use restrooms before you get there. We went during the peak of fall and enjoyed the colorful drive (20 minutes outside of Ottawa). I highly recommend this place as a fun activity after you’ve maxed out on the museums and art galleries.
