Was recommended by a friend but when we got there, the place was hot as the air conditioning wasn’t working, the main doors wouldn’t stay open either to let air in, the coffees we ordered were left at the counter though they said they would bring it to us. And asking for a cup of water took two people a few minutes to figure out. Disappointing. Wouldn’t go back. Nor recommend. It just looks nice. That’s all.

Fauboug is know. For their coffee and croissants and macaroons 2 out of 3 is not bad Their coffee and croissants are to die for but the macaroons are just average This is a elegant well designed place to meet friends and chat and have a nice new brew Their desserts are good but pricy worth a try m Everything is high quality

Little disappointed with the customer service. Britney who took my order forgot to heat up my sandwich and realised that she forgot after me reminding her ‘what’s taking so long’?? I also find the macaroons too be a bit dry.

The only thing I liked was the tea… They serve Marriage Frères loose leaf tea served in a small teapot which can be refilled with more hot water.

Pastries and coffee are incredible here. Such creativity and the flaky croissants are delicious. The coffee creations are also smooth and the chocolate mousse and cheesecake options are great! I would suggest this place as a fun lunch with the kids, girlfriends or visiting family members. They have delightful sandwiches too. There is out door seating so you can even bring the dog. It gets pretty busy here but the staff is very friendly and the waits are not too long. It is a casual bakery with a lot of parking because it is connected to the shopping plaza. This place is definitely worth a try! There are also macrons and other small treats that are perfect to take with you to any occasion. The price reflects the quality but well worth it!

We were looking for a place on a cold wintery post Christmas shopping day for coffee. Not McD’s, Not the Bucks. We wanted something that beckoned to our tastebuds. And as we came near, we saw the sign. Then the macarons and it looked like we were temporarily whisked away to some place called Europe. I didn’t have the sweet stuff, but really enjoyed the coffee. The service was good. Depending on who is at the till, you can order in French! We got a seat, and had great conversation. Too bad we don’t have this in my neck of the woods. I’d come more often.

Just stopped in as we had a craving for something sweet. I ordered something light and creamy with a french name that was sooo good. My partner had a tirimisu that was delicious. Little pricy, I guess, though I don’t really know. Was a good stop.

I came specifically for the macarons and mmmmmm they were heavenly. Ultra thin shells, just the right amount of chew, and great flavors. Oh they were so good. I wanted to buy their dessert sampler pack too but didn’t want to carry loads of desserts(I had a bunch from other places already) onto the plane. I did get their raspberry almond bars to try as well and loved that they weren’t overly sweet. I must come back next time!

Faubourg was spacious. We ordered a cranberry turkey sandwich and latte to try. The bread was a bit chewy. Otherwise, it was tasty. The latte was steamed to the perfect temperature. We ended with dark chocolate macaroons — a must try! This is a perfect spot to rest after strolling through the village at Park Royal. It is like escaping to mini Paris. The dessert selection looks decadent and will be our next items to try.

I just came here for the macarons. They are light, fluffy and have a subtle crunch on the outside. The Faubourg signature is my favorite, it is made with white chocolate and passionfruit. The strawberry pepper is pretty good too.

We came here for coffee. It was 4pm and I asked the cashier when they close. The cashier said they close at 5 pm and they prefer to close strictly at 5 pm. I said it was fine and we had enough time to drink coffee. We ordered our drinks and the cashier told us that they can’t serve us in regular cup and have to serve us in paper cup. We said it’s ok but realized that everyone who ordered after us got served in regular cup. We got our coffees and it was barely hot even though we ordered extra hot. Then at 4:25 the barista came to our table and emphasized that they close at 5:00 and we have to leave soon. Based on bad customer service and poorly made coffee, I don’t recommend this location. Try their downtown location… At least they are nice.

Cashiers are rude and do not place correct order(second time this has happened). Customer service does not match prices of this place… better off going to Starbucks.

As someone who loathes macarons, even those from Parisian bakeries, I can’t comment about those from Faubourg. My husband and I are regulars here as we enjoy the atmosphere and the coffee is unmatched. My husband always goes for the curried chicken sandwich and I have the pain chocolat or the pistachio croissant(which isn’t actually a croissant as it is square). I am not a lover of sweets so comparing those from Faubourg with those of, say, Temper in Dundarave, would not be a wise thing for me to do. Great place to people watch as well :)

I don’t know if it’s just this location(i hope it is) or if this store in general is just overrated… Based on the awesome reviews for the Kerrisale location, we were excited to try their desserts. We got a box of 9(i think they can fit 10 in there) macarons, a slice of the passion fruit opera, and a slice of the«dessert of the month». The macarons were, seriously, quite bad. They weren’t even made with love. Some of the macarons didn’t even have perfectly aligned top and bottom shells! Size was wrong. Filling was a bit… underwhelming and some were quite sweet. I’ve had macarons from Laduree(France/NYC) and ‘Lette(LA). I will never recommend Faubourg’s macarons to anyone… The salted caramel macaron we got was BITTER! What?! Now to the cakes. Em… All I can say is we probably won’t crave for them. Maybe I will give the Kerrisdale location a chance… someday…

Been to this location several times, both times were good. First visit I had a almond croissant and a espresso macchiato. Almond croissant was just ok, I’ve had better but it wasn’t horrible. Second visit I has ham & cheese croissant and regular coffee. I really enjoyed their brewed coffee, croissant was good. Yes I will most likely be back because its close to all my favourite shops.

I am a regular at Faubourg. I love coming here and I finds that the pastries here is always fresh and tasty. Of all the pastries the Viennoiserie of the month is the blueberry pâté viennoiserie. The flavour is out of this world. I was so disappointed when I went there one morning and it wasn’t ready. In any event, their other pastries are also very good. The price is good definitely cannot compare it to places like T&T or Save-On-Foods but the quality and taste is also light years apart. You cannot compare apple and oranges. They just don’t taste the same. The staff are getting to recognize me and now they have become friendlier. I got their frequent visit card now and once I collect enough drink orders it will entitle me to free drinks in the future. It won’t be long. I especially love this location becos it is so close to me and I can walk there and stay as long as I want and no one will bother me. I love coming here with friends because this also helps to expose them to more people. The place is lively and pleasant and a constant of people coming and going. I love it and my family loves it too. Did I say I love this place? I love this place. The price is good definitely

No. That’s all I can say about this place. The prices for these tiny little pastries were absolutely absurd. The pastries themselves, nothing special at all. I could get tiramisu at T&T for a fraction of the price. These pastries were also incredibly small for the price we were paying. The price range for a small little tart is between 5 – 7 dollars. There was a sampler available that gave you 8 bite sized pastries, but that was $ 15. Remember, these are literally bite sized. All in all, I’d never come back here. It’s way too expensive for mediocre baked goods. If you can, avoid this place.

Recently tried this new location hoping for authentic French bread and pastries. What a let-down. The bread was definitely day-old, despite claims on their website stating they make it fresh five times a day. Croissants were no better than the ones found at Save-On-Foods except they cost five times as much! At the prices they charge, you’d expect much better quality. Anyone who has been to France and tasted the real thing will be disappointed.

While not a big fan of their macarons(lacks the chewiness or flavour like Thierrys), this particular location has the good stuff: high ceilings, whiteness, modern slick décor, and a truly European flair. Action date for sure. In the back, they have this granite/marble bar communal table, nice touch considering the other 2 locations don’t have, in particular the Kerrisdale. Located in the new part of the Village.
