Nope, we should have tried another pizza place. There was no menu or way to easily decipher the pizzas, they did not have cheese pizza available, the place was messy and did not have napkins, and the pizza I did get featured not-quite cooked potatoes on it. I’m fine eating at not the tidiest of restaurants, but the food here wasn’t very good and I wish I had tried one of the other pizza places in the area.

We probably came in right as they were opening but they only had cheese or pepperoni. The pizza was cheap but not very good. The parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes shakers were chained to one table. yes, they were only available on one table, not all. If you’re looking for cheap, filling pizza this is the place for you. Not the place for you if you like flavorful pizza.

Definitely some of the best quality pizza you can get for Delivery or take-out in whistler village. Staff were very relaxed, friendly & professional. We ordered 5 large pizza’s for 24 guys on a stag and it fed us all very well. The various styles of toppings were flavourful, aside from the Cheese which was fairly plain(as one could expect). I would definitely order from Avalanche again.

Pizza here is very mediocre. The pros are that it’s fast, cheap, and comes out fresh. If you’re looking for good pizza go to Antica(great thin crust) or try Tony’s. I walked by and it smelled so good!

You can’t judge pizza by delivery pizza. We ate our pie in the shop and it was one of the best pizzas we ever had outside of New York. It certainly beats Chicago, LA and San Francisco. The seating area is barebones but the pie was worth it.

Pizza was good but the add says you get get a free 2 liter bottle of Coke and we never got it. I called and was told that we had to ask for it when we ordered. This is not in the add. They did not deliver one either.

Not bad. This is a good spot to grab a slice before hitting Tommy Africa’s. I got a decent slice of pepperoni pizza here. The dough was good as was the mozzarella and pepperoni. Unfortunately nothing really stood out to me as far as flavor though. Don’t get me wrong, I’d still recommend trying them. I’m just saying that it was kinda status quo.

Best pizza in Whistler, bar none. It is also located in a spot in the village where you can people watch as you munch.

We had Avalanche deliver 2 pizzas(their Canadian and deluxe), garlic cheese bread, and a salad. The online ordering process went well and the delivery was on time. The garlic bread was really good. I give it 4 out of 5. The salad was as good as any other lettuce salad and it was big enough to share. The pizza was about a 2.5−3 out of 5. The pizza is what keeps this place from being a 4 star.

Expensive, adequate pizza, especially if you’re ordering for delivery. Perhaps it was just a cold night, but when we got our pizza the cheese wasn’t melty(which is one of my favourite parts). Pizza dough/crust is too«bread-y» for me. Toppings are only aight. There are way better alternatives for food in Whistler, I’d suggest going someplace else.

I went in the store and there wasn’t many options, all they had was a vegetarian pizza like 5 slices and one tomato(meat lovers I think.?) 1 slice. I was quite surprised they only had that many on display. A round of cheese pizza came out so I got that, I took a bite and wow I was shocked. The interior looked like a quite decent place but the taste of that pizza? Salty and cheese overload, they should cut down on the cheese. Dough was the only good thing part of the slice of pizza.

Tried three types of pizza and all were mediocre; on par with the Dominoes of old, but crust was better. Brew House a short distance away is much better but not a «to go» restaurant and they serve microbrew!

Came in for a pizza to share while we were running around shopping. The pepperoni pizza we got was good. It’s basically carbs and protein needed for high altitude and not meant to be an experience. The girl working was a bit of an airhead but she was friendly and got the order to us in 20 minutes. The restaurant needed some tidying up. It had a fun, casual vibe with rock music blaring. Why is it not possible to give a «zero star» rating on Unilocal? My son and I were visiting Whistler Village and decided to stop into Avalanche Pizza for an early dinner on Thursday August 6, 2015 around 3:30 pm. Other than the plain cheese and pepperoni slices of pizza, it’s nearly impossible to to determine what combinations of toppings are on the individual slice pizzas in the display counter, so I began to ask the waiter what some of them were… he mumbled some unintelligible answers and I had to ask him to repeat what he was saying a couple of times, he was so obviously irritated that I was asking questions that he finally gave me some smart-ass comment. I told him what he could do with his pizza, and we walked out without a purchase. This particular waiter either really hates his job, or hates dealing with tourists, or both. I know I’m just one customer, but you’ve lost any chance at my business in the future. I work too hard for my money to spend it at a place that doesn’t treat it’s customers with any respect.

We stopped in on a rainy saturday night and ate the dregs of the day. Old pizza, gross looking pizza, but NOTHING was open in the village. They do not re-heat it for you, and it’s cold chewy but edible. I saw the remnants wrapped up in their beverage fridge for the next day, two slices of each kind of pizza wrapped in saran just waiting to be sold at full price to some sucker like me haha. Not fresh, not warm. Avoid if you can but better than starving ;)

I like it, but dislike it at the same time… We grabbed 3 to-go slices and they were harshly cold, chewy. I guess they don’t heat it for you unless you ask. For $ 3.50 a slice, I think you get a decent, filling slice with lots of dough and topping. I would come back to try a fresh made-to-order pizza, but for the individual slices, it’s mediocre. Not much else to add, except that its worth a try if you’re super hungry and right there. Their regular full-pizza prices are a bit high and you get a better value from the individual slices.

This is incredible pizza right in the heart of Whistler Village right by my hotel, I ordered two pizza’s and twenty minutes later they were ready. The pizza is done in a semi dish type style which is great as the crust is not super thin. This is a great place if you want to take a pizza back to your hotel, Woohoo I am a fan !

I remember last time was here, they had good pizza, so stopped by today but IMO they had a horrible selection of pizza with nothing that interested me, so ended up going to another pizza joint. I will try them again next time I’m in town, and hopefully they will have a better selection.

I went to Avalanche Pizza at their Whistler Village location mid-afternoon on a Friday. I was pleasantly greeted by a very friendly gal, unfortunately she was kinda hard to understand. I approached the cash register and saw about 2 pizzas of various slices arranged, and not looking the freshest. The clerk informed me what the 6 types of sliced pizza were, I choose the easiest to understand(Chicken Bacon Ranch) and Pepperoni. Two slices and a soda was nearly $ 10…not bad for Whistler. I particularly like that their crust is made from Organic ingredients. The chicken bacon ranch was very good, pretty fresh, what looked like a lightly herbed crust, a flavorful ranch sauce with chicken, and bacon. The pepperoni pizza was probably good about an hour earlier. This slice had grown tired, I wish it had been discounted, as it should have been. The toppings had aged(not in a good way) and gotten dry and tough. Avalanche is a little place down a hallway in the middle of a building. It’s worth finding, just be careful of pizza by the slice that has outlived it’s palatable shelf-life.
