Very good pub! This is the perfect spot to hit for lunch near the gondola or for as an early start to a long night of drinking like we did. Our riding day had to end early due to bad conditions. Rain, fog and sleet made it an easy choice for us to end our day on the mountain and hit the pub for a late lunch/early start to our drinking tour of the village. I got the Clubhouse sandwich with fries and it was delicious. Fresh baguette, chicken and Canadian bacon. I swear that Canadian bacon is more delicious than American bacon(God that pains me to say). I accompanied my Clubhouse with a very tasty Pale Ale pint(actually four or five) that sadly I cannot remember the name of. Luckily you have an awesome assortment of pints to chose from including Guinness. The ambiance here is very casual with a fire place, ample bar and very friendly waitresses and bartenders. Bookmark this spot and give them a try.

Pros: lots of drink options, a large outdoor fire pit. Cons: It can be a full-on madhouse as the lifts close, which makes seating and service a challenge. Not a wide variety of share-able, snack-able menu options for when you just want to hang out a bit instead of sitting down for a meal.

Reminiscent of a genuine pub from Ireland. This pub brings me back to my fond memories of Ireland. They usually have a live band playing(Some play Irish music) or PA system playing something if no live music. My favorite bar/pub to go to at the village. The have 3 happy hours a day and the prices are decent. They also have yummy food! We ordered the«small» nachos last time. The small is big enough for two very hungry people. My favorite thing about this place is the Magners on tap(aka Bulmers back in the Emerald Isle). THE best cider I have come across. Plus it brings me fond memories or Ireland. NOTTOMENTION they have HALF pints! The service is good, and they are all nice and relatively quick. As long as I keep on coming back to Whistler, I will keep on coming back here. Love this Pub. Slainte!

brunch, Traditional Fry Up, black pudding First, I only had the brunch but felt very nostalgic of my trip to Ireland when I had the Traditional Fry Up with: bangers, eggs, beans, tomatoes, pub spuds, & Oyama Black Pudding. You won’t find that everyday! I know the black pudding is not for everyone but not to worry, it is only two bite size pieces and definitely worth a try. Delicious breakfast, and gigantic! Second, great atmosphere for a pint of Guinness. This place was definitely packed during the afternoon. Third, great place to come after going on the slopes – a pint well deserved you can say ;)

We recently came back for a group ski trip and the Irish coffees after a full day of shredding on the slopes was the perfect end to an awesome day! The music was great, crowds were fun and the service was friendly. I recently discovered on this trip the offer veggie poutine for you non-carnivores out there. holler. at. that.

So glad we stopped here for lunch after a cold morning on the mountain. I highly recommend the food here. We ordered the: Alberta lamb curry: delicious! Clam chowder: my husband who does not like to experiment with his food much ordered this. I laughed at him at first but it turned out to be one of the best clam chowders I’ve tasted. Poutine: we had to order this famous Canadian French fries appetizer since we saw it on the menu. Super glad we did! It was Da Bomb Diggidy!!! I would definitely come back to the Dubh Linn to try out some of their other dishes.

We came here on a cold and snowy evening just after the New Year and found this place very lively. There was a live band playing which made for a more welcoming environment and the restaurant was full. For food, we started with the clam chowder that was a perfect way to start the meal(hearty, flavorful but not filling if that makes sense). For our mains we did the fish tacos and fish n chips(both prepared with cod and battered perfectly, nice and crunchy with flavor). To wrap up the meal, we tried the Guinness chocolate cake(I was expecting this to be better and we could have avoided it overall as it didn’t have the chocolate or Guinness flavor I was looking for). We ended up sitting at the bar and our bartender was friendly and attentive with us. Overall, the food was good, atmosphere fun and prices were fair for what we ordered. Buon appetito.

We loved it in here. I had cottage pie and it was really yummy. We got the pretzels as an appetizer and the cheese dip was delicious we all used it for our fries too. He music is playing loud and the décor is pretty cool with all kinds of knock knacks to check out. We sat ourself in the back by the fireplace. The waitress was really friendly and service was great.

This Irish pub is located right by the Blackcomb gondola, so you can’t miss it! It’s a huge place with live music and outside seating too! There is no hostess, so you just need to look for open seating… We found a table next to the fireplace, where we were able to take off some of our snow gear and put them on the mantle. We felt like having some steak, so we ordered the steak and Guinness pie since it was one of their signature items and a cup of clam chowder. The pie pastry topping was the best part– it was golden and very crispy. The chowder was pretty good too. I also tried some of my friend’s nachos. I think it was the small portion, but it was still huge! There were plenty of banana peppers and cheese piled on top of the chips. Guacamole was extra, but worth the extra $ 3.75. My other friend ordered the banger and mash, which came with some pork and a small portion of mashed potatoes. It looked weird, but he said it was good. Surprisingly the food didn’t take long to arrive for such a big establishment full of people. They are known for Whistler’s largest beer selection, so of course the guys ordered a pitcher. They had trouble finishing it since they were so full, but you can’t waste beer, so they took their time… It’s a cool spot to check out after a day of snowboarding/skiing/tubing– everyone here is really friendly and nice.

If you’re here for Irish fare, you’ve come to the right place. After a day on the hills, it’s sort of nice to get some comfort food. Here are the sticking points: — Food is tasty and well prepared. Their chowders are tasty and hearty. — Service is slow. The waitresses took quite a few rounds to get to us. — Prices are a little high, but that’s just Whistler for you. A good thing about these guys is that they’re open pretty late, so if you pass out after coming home from skiing, you’ll still be able to make it to these guys while the rest of the restaurants have closed!

One of the few places actually open for breakfast when we were here. The servers were extremely cheerful and pleasant. I had tomato and avocado poached eggs($ 14.5), which tasted fine. The mulled wine was tasty but could have been served hotter.

My wife and I went into the pub for a few drinks after skiing blackcomb all day. The pub was crowded at the time but we found a table for two and hung out for a few minutes. About five minutes or so a server came up and gave us menus and then walked away without saying a word. About two minutes later another server came up and took our drink order. 20 minutes went by and no drinks ever came. Our server walked by several times and I stopped her to ask if the drinks were being made, and she told us another server was handling our drinks and pointed to another random server. We waited for a few more minutes and decided to leave. As we left the random server stopped us and asked if we were leaving and we replied«yes, we are because we have waited over 20 minutes for a cider and a club soda». He responded with an attitude stating«yea we are busy!». At this point we left the pub. I have never written a negative review on here, and can say as a former server and bartender, the service at this pub is unacceptable. It’s a shame because the food looked good, but we will not give our money to incompetent people.

Located inside the pan pacific hotel. We stayed here during our two days in whistler so it was really convenient being able to eat breakfast here before heading out to the slopes. We actually came back here for dinner because we’re from SoCal and could not handle the 20 degree weather and decided it wasn’t worth it to leave the hotel. We were here over thanksgiving weekend and they actually had a thanksgiving dinner option which I thought was so cute! All of their food options were great!

I went there for breakfast. I was looking for something sweet. I saw a photo shared of the French toast by another Unilocal member. It looked small, but I decided to try it anyway. The serving I received was two large sourdough slices of French toast. Cooked to my liking. Still tender on the inside. The Nutella was a generous serving on the side and the maple syrup was great. Very filling. Equal or a bit better than the stuffed French toast at Elements Tapas Restaurant. Staff was friendly, service was fast. Staff friendly.

Great Irish pub in Whistler. It was recommended as a suggestion by one of the local volunteers and I’m glad we listened to her suggestions. The décor inside is very cozy and unique. It definitely has character. The food was really good too. I had the COTTAGEPIE which was pretty much shepherd pie but it was some gravy on top that was really different. Guinness infused gravy. Very yummy!!! My friend had the fish and chips with rosemary dipped fries. She really likes her dish too. Lots of selection of beers. Highly recommend for staying at Whistler!!!

Not a single complaint here. Now I wouldn’t normally think of an Irish pub as a place to have breakfast, but this place is great. We had a coupon from our hotel, which was right across the street, so we tried it. Yogurt parfait… delicious. House made granola and whiskey apples. My wife had the frittata and it was amazing. Guinness cheddar on top. The coffee is great, too. This particular Ironman Sunday was quiet here. The waiter was friendly and attentive.

Typical Pub. Loud music, kinda dirty. Rowdy crowd, beer and cheap wine. Bartenders were not busy, but it still took flagging them down for service. Didn’t go back.

I visited Dubh Linn Gate twice. One night we went out for a pint — and ended up here as it is very close to the hotel where we were staying — The Westin. I had a pint of the Pale Ale, a locally brewed BC pale Ale from Steamworks Brewing Co., Burnaby, BC. It was pretty good. It was late — around midnight or so and the place was absolutely packed! I came back one morning by myself for breakfast — I sat outside and ordered the«Traditional Irish Fry-Up» breakfast: two eggs, bacon, banger sausage, black pudding(blood sausage), breakfast potatoes, a slice of tomato, and beans. Plus a side of Irish soda bread served with butter and a locally made berry jam. And coffee and water. The plate came out fairly quickly — within 10 minutes of ordering the food. I was interested to try the Black Pudding — I’ve never had Blood sausage before and was curious. It was not unpleasant or anything weird. But it was also rather bland. I ended up swabbing the sausage chunks through the egg yolks and some hot sauce to give it some flavor. The berry jam was really good. The Banger was a bit on the bland side, the eggs were cooked perfectly(over easy) and the bacon was tasty. Coffee was strong and good. My server was a young man who did a good job — can’t recall his name. I’d eat here again for breakfast!

Good selection of food especially if you like chips. I had a Cobb salad which was substantial although the chicken was tasteless. My friend had the crab and Parmesan dip with bread and corn chips. Even though her plate was hot the dip was cold and wasn’t supposed to be. They obviously did not leave it on the microwave long enough! Staff nice but would not recommend eating here
