Very good spot! I had a delicious chicken sandwich and a nice pint of Powder Mountain Lager. I recommend getting the Angry Chicken sandwich. It was very good and a very decent size. I even enjoyed the fries or rather the hot house chips as they’re referred to here lol I also had a chance to sample my buddy’s chicken wings. They’re only dry rubbed but good none the less. Our server was very attentive, friendly and helpful. The pricing was appropriate for Whistler and the restaurant was clean. Give them a try.

Walking in after a long day of hard boarding on the mountain we were looking for some beer and a couple of good bites to tide us over until dinner time… The place was pretty packed when we arrived around 5pm which is expected since this is peak après ski time! We were directed upstairs as there was no available patio seating, which actually got us out of the craziness so in the end was much appreciated! Ordered a couple of beers and a butter chicken poutine which initially my hubby and I baulked at the price of, $ 16 for poutine? Really??? However, once it turned up, we totally got it! It was literally a bowl of butter chicken but with chips and cheese instead of rice… If you find yourself in Whistler and your a fan of poutine and Indian(and let’s face it, who isn’t???) you must try it! My only issue, again, was the servers seemed to have an attitude and were pretty unfriendly… Oh, and they didn’t bother to mention the happy hour deals! A couple of times the hubby and it tried to strike up a ‘what would you recommend’ conversation and were quickly shot down with no recommendations, not even a smile… Sigh… Maybe we’re too used to US service???

Took a pit stop here for a pitcher of beers while bar hopping around in the evening through the village. The atmosphere is laid back and casual and the DJ was on point with the music playlist. Pitchers were reasonably priced and had tons of choices!

There’s a really nice, laid back atmosphere at Beacon Pub. We’d gone to some places right by the lift already and wanted to explore farther in. The deck is really well done, but that sacrifices interior space. The bar area is small. Whistler is an outdoor place so the trade off is worth it. To make up for it there’s a 2nd floor with a pool table. The service was really good. We got a some wings and a pitcher(which they call a jug). It was happy hour, so the pitcher is on special. The wings were good. I notice they are smaller in Canada. I like that. I think the meat is better. Anyway, I’d definitely go back and you should too. It’s worth walking a little farther from the slopes to avoid some of the craziness.

3.5÷5 for me here We popped in here for lunch during the week and found this place fairly quiet. There were people sitting under the heaters on the patio and also in the downstairs dining room, but we decided to go upstairs where they had high tables and a pool table if you are interested(free). The place is very casual as a pub normally is and the service was ok. Getting to the food, we started with the butter chicken poutine(cheese curds and tandoori chicken that was very flavorful and hearty). For our mains, we went with the sesame crusted tuna(cooked well and fresh) and the Canadian wagyu beef burger(my only ‘beef’(get it?) is that they cook it well done due to the law in Canada unlike America but had good flavors otherwise). Overall, the food was good, atmosphere was lax and the prices were fair for what we got. After it was all said and done, I believe it came out to about $ 40/person with a drink each. I would recommend if you are looking for a quick bite in the village area. Buon appetito.

I came here to pass some time while waiting for some friends, and had a seat at the bar by myself. I can’t speak to the food as I didn’t eat(though everything that passed me looked delicious!), but the service at the bar was friendly and welcoming, and I didn’t feel awkward being there alone. I ended up chatting with the fellow sitting beside me and his friends who came and joined, and we all met up the next day! All in all, great service and a great place to make some new friend!

Busy spot on a Friday night! However, we were able to snag a table for a party of 7. They had free WiFi, which is great since we did not want to pay for roaming charges. The Root Beer Short Ribs and Blue Buck beer are a MUST have!!!

We came here for a lunch ski break two days during our trip. Both times the staff were extremely friendly. The reason that I love this place so much is DEFINITELY the beer!!! I had one of the best beers of my life at this place. It was the Whistler Chestnut Ale. If beer could be a dessert, this would be that beer! I discovered it during my first visit here when my husband and I did a beer sampler. You get four 4 oz pours for $ 12.75. We did a cider, an Irish stout, a pale ale, and my favorite beer. In terms of food, we only tried some of the bar food. I had the mac and cheese the first day, which was pretty OK. Both days we got fries with some delicious garlic aoli sauce, which I would highly recommend. Some helpful hints… during happy hour(3 – 6PM), they have pitchers of beers, sangrias, Moscow mules, and some other drink that i can’t remember for $ 16. Also, you get 15% off if you have your discount card from Crystal Lodge. Overall, a great place to stop by if you need a break from the slopes.

Good place for a cold pint of Ale. They carry a number of BC produced Ales. Hung out and had a couple of cold pints here.

Seemingly average whistler bar. It used to be Cittas long ago which I used to enjoy on the annual ski trips to whistler. This new place is boring and the food wasn’t special. We ordered the short rib which came out in about 2 minutes leading me to believe they had them sitting in a crockpot. It wasn’t special. The fried onions on top were stale as they must have been fried earlier in the day or week. The drinks were cheap-ey which cheap booze. The wine list ok. The service ok. Skip this place
